Lots of info scattered around here,
but 2 Covid+ varients prototypes built in ongoing trials and NHS lab performance testing happeing as we speak, so should be good news on that soon.
The full DARPA units are WiP - work in progress but news seems very encouraging, as it appears from researching around the. UK Gene sequence platform - can detect anthrax and most if not all other pathogens with appropriate software which is DARPAs primary remitt I believe + in very quick time compared to existing other platforms and very very cost effective.

There's lots of questions I'd like to ask Arnab if I had a one on one meeting with him to write up an article for the chronicle , I wonder if any of these get covered??

Has he asked about the unique British Gene sequencing platform being used and are Kromek using the tech under a licence deal?

Are any of the clever micro fluid handling or automated sub systems or 'lab on a chip' designs covered by any Applied/ Pending Patent applications?

What's his thoughts on the US Biowatch program and any potential contract valuations as on one occasion it was said they might name the product 'BioWatch'?

Has he looked at placing his (ST) own ''Independent'' valuation on the many potential markets for this bio technology?
-Domestic
-Military
-Defence
-Crop protection/food security
-Livestock desease monitoring
- with related data/services/maintence contacts

-Now the MoD are involved would that help with any Portion Down 'bio testing' for the full on DARPA version to help with, speed up US accreditation?

-Will any 'airborne pathogens' detection British Standards Docs or similar be likely to be commissioned ? To Set the standards to meet.

-Has he asked about the Manufacturing partner relationships being talked about and Will this be only UK based? or Joint venture based?

-When will a Bio Product info page be added to thier web site?

-Has he (ST) a view on any Bio detection competition Kromek might have? and does he have his own opinion of any market share Kmk would capture ? as it appears to meet most requirements for full auto functionality.

-Does he think the UK will follow the US in deployment of this tech in say underground stations once the tech is certified and approved?

There's so many...but I have a feeling not many will be....maybe..

To put my two-penny worth in I’d say someone’s been watching Kromek for a while. Seen it break past the 17p resistance, realised there will be further momentum when ST print article comes out and thought this is their last chance to get in. Probably see more repeat buys for the same volumes tomorrow...

Kromek never seems to behave in a rational manner, so Dave the chef is probably right. Who were all the big buyers coming out of the woodwork today?!?! All seemed to be repeat 100,000 or 150,000 orders by the same person rather than different buyers.

The question is whether to ride this mini wave and sell, or wait for the tsunami when the biological pathogen detector news is released - and the full commercial potential of the detector is realised, with no competitors in sight. Or be greedy and try to ride both, getting in and out in between.

It was often the case during the day, that the shares were much in day, by P.I's & the MM's, by the fact that it was NT to buy; it could well prove the case again tomorrow, but but I'd more vear on the side of a wee drop. However, we seem to be seeing higher lows on the course of recovery, so all good.

Hope your dead wrong, davethechef but that too is a possibility with this share. I could of made mega dosh with this share if I’d of traded the ups and downs but I’m still here and still hoping. GLA

The online version, Simon Thompson article came out on the 14th.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the MM drop this instead tomorrow morning, as I've mentioned before how they 'like to play with the SP'

Expect the unexpected re the share price with Kromek!

Bang on AQC. In fact I thought it rose to near .25 in late January. Whatever, I’m banking on a nice uplift tomorrow then a steady increase as we await results.

Last Simon Thompson Kromek tip went online on Wednesday night 13th Jan. On 14th jan share price went 13.45p to 16.90p 25%rise. After the Friday print edition came out the price ended Monday at 17.75 a further 5% rise. By the end of that week it reached by the following week it reached 23.5 a further 32% rise, before plummeting back. Total 74% in following 10days.

This time the online tip produced a 13.5% rise, total today up 20%. Could have significantly further to run given the unusual “strong buy” and fantastic write up.
