09/8/2021 08:12:44 | i'll be more than happy with 'very good' | fanramptastic mate
09/8/2021 08:11:38 | Yes but the positive results now need to be extra-super-positive given all the hype generated here now, thanks. What if the news is only what's expected i.e. very good? | dogwalker
08/8/2021 11:17:57 | All this talk of Sage suggesting a more deadly variant could emerge... Kromek probably would offer a portfolio a good hedge against such a scenario. It would probably be one of the only shares to surge in demand in that scenario, providing these detector results are positive... | aqc888
08/8/2021 10:27:32 | Hopefully the ‘positive results’ the CEO and Simon Thompson talk of will be released later this month. When they are released we should see the strongest spike in the share price yet. share price should get to Simon Thompson’s target of ‘28p and well beyond’ at that point. | aqc888
07/8/2021 22:09:40 | I’m hoping for .80p this year with positive news. .50p as minimum. But then again……….. | b00mb0y
07/8/2021 20:27:52 | I think you are right that if there is positive newsflow then this could exceed 80p in coming years. If short term news is positive medium term rise I would expect to be sudden. GLA IMHO DYOR | strategicinvestor2
07/8/2021 17:39:58 | This would have been an excellent live trails test for the Patho Covids unit, but I guess the logistics would have been a bit tricky....maybe on another short trip somewhere..in the future?
No mention of the Covids precautions onboard,The usual I expect, but last week it was reported an outbreak on another US cruise originated from asymptomatic children or teenagers I think.
I walked past her last week in Southampton very impressive ship.

07/8/2021 00:54:43 | AQC888 - thanks for that article. Kind of hits many nails on the head there.
Of course we're all on tenterhooks waiting for news...
But surely in the medium term (2-3 years) from this point, Kromek has the potential to go back to a share price of it's highest highs of 80p.
It's got such good tech in many areas and it's the right time for this tech to take off.
The quarantine systems that the article talks about need a lot of thought and time to work things through. Where I live the quarantine systems and COVID working practices are really thorough. Local organizations work together and with the local and national authorities. It's taken a lot of time and effort on many details to get there. | dougmachin

06/8/2021 22:10:00 | Anita Goel: To support recovery from this pandemic, and to prevent future pandemics, we need to have a smarter quarantine system—instead of entire lockdowns on our economy—enabled by decentralized nanoprecision and even quantitative, real-time testing of COVID-19 and other biomarkers. There’s a Harvard University study that says it costs about $12 billion a day for America to have a lockdown.15 And it would cost Americans $20 million a day to test 6 percent of the population—roughly 20 million Americans—to effectively and safely reopen the economy—and keep it open.16
A smart quarantine system means we create COVID-19-free safety zones where we can guarantee individuals, families, and communities—at least within a certain subset of the population—are indeed COVID-19 free. To do that, we need very high-precision, mobilized testing at a molecular level that can give you real-time data. That’s how we are going to be able to separate who’s infected, including the asymptomatic carriers—or "superspreaders"R12;who carry the virus and can transmit it yet show no symptoms. Today, less than 10 percent of the needed 20 million tests a day in the United States are being done. And the testing that’s being done today provides only qualitative yes-or-no answers and has variable quality. | aqc888
06/8/2021 22:08:37 | An interesting article from McKinsey. When asked how we will end this pandemic Anita Goel, MD, PhD, a world-renowned, award-winning physicist, physician, global-health security expert, and entrepreneur and the chair and CEO of Nanobiosym, pretty much describes the Kromek detector...
McKinsey: What innovations are you most excited about that may help deliver faster, more effective solutions to end the pandemic from both the health and economic perspectives?
Anita Goel: We live in a highly interconnected global economy where infections travel at lightning speed. To combat that, we need to embrace innovation and the best technologies and capabilities— technologies to detect, intervene, and create countermeasures on a massive scale early. We now have the technological capabilities, but it will require a paradigm shift to scale and deploy these nationally and globally—for example, moving from a more centralized to a decentralized paradigm about how we deliver healthcare.
We also need strong national mobilization to scale adoption quickly—for example, scaling nanobiophysics technology, which may solve the testing problem and create precision molecular testing in real time at a mass scale and enable real-time surveillance and early detection and countermeasures. | aqc888

06/8/2021 16:34:16 | Haha, I think I would have done the same trade in reality | aqc888
06/8/2021 14:27:38 | AQC - I did a great trade.. sold at 21p and then bought back in, basically at 21p. Doh! | dougmachin
06/8/2021 13:47:21 | can understand selling for 21p but selling for 19p, mm. | abbynat
06/8/2021 13:45:30 | i hope its not DEJA VU as last year! good post petersw1! | abbynat
06/8/2021 13:35:14 | It is quite hypocritical, I agree! Without irrational human emotions Kromeks share price wouldn’t be all over the place on very little/no news. 33mick is keeping calm with his treky news, while boomboy no doubt will be in panic mode heading for his nuclear shelter. I’m modestly irritated I could see another mini spike coming and didn’t sell a few and buy back with a quick 10% profit. I missed that boat.. Holding tight and presumably there will be a rise at the end of the day from people getting back on board. Who sells Kromek this late in the game, just before results are released, other than opportunists. Of which I’m totally hypocritically irritated at! | aqc888
06/8/2021 11:59:05 | For Treky fans ..the original series was the best I recon.
'The COVID-19 virus can spread through the air – here's what it'll take to detect the airborne particles Suresh Dhaniyala, Hema Priyamvada Ravindran, Shantanu Sur, Clarkson University August 14, 2020' (Clarkson University is a private research university with its main campus in Potsdam, New York)
"When the next new pathogen emerges, it would be nice to have a tricorder handy." | 33mick
06/8/2021 11:51:12 | It is a natural human response see the current drop and think ah I should have sold let's sell now before missing out even more. I'm feeling like that today. Taking such a choice based on the fear of missing out is going to to be extra risky though. Would seem better to me to form a consistent plan and stick to it. If that includes trading than it should include a better entry and exit criteria than arhhh I'm missing out panic trade. Personally I'm happy with my capital allocation and will wait for solid news before changing anything here. | petersw1
06/8/2021 11:30:16 | short sighted and hind sighted - i would say your comments are a bit hypocritical | fanramptastic mate
06/8/2021 11:26:55 | Trading on predicted chart movements when there is a huge imminent piece of news for Kromek is a little short sighted. I find it extremely annoying too, as I was minded to have a quick jump out and in whilst waiting for the detector results, and missed an easy 5-10% it would seem | aqc888
05/8/2021 15:13:37 | Don’t read anything into the buy or sell tag against trades !! A lot of the sells are buys if you look at MM ask price when trades done. Is a flaw they need to resolve !! | strategicinvestor2
05/8/2021 14:36:26 | All small volume sells. Not worried. All private investors thinking to get out before the current spike drops more. Probably not thinking about the significance of the upcoming trial results | aqc888
