Did I read correctly that Wally sold from 50p all the way up and did not lose any money!!!!
Perhaps it was an elderly relatives money he swindled so he could finally be telling the truth.
This is going far better than I anticipated. I gave a little profit back yesterday and that has annoyed me though. Oh well.
Have a great weekend all.

Zico? How is that chart looking LOL

I would have thought the weekend broadsheets, such as Sunday Times, are likely to have a decent bit on Kier, given size of fund raise and what it means for a Co in so many public projects.

Like ontheforks, I have had my email through too. As Kier employees, we are being contacted with our options

Thanks boozey/pric9/'forks. I'm seeing slightly different approaches amongst brokers but the same overall impression -- it's in hand. I have no intention of missing out. Am going to grab everything I can at 85p and I'm keeping all my existing shares too. If and when this doubles, I'll take a view.

Stdyeddy spoke to ii - the corporate action is not yet listed with them so I assume this will be the same for all brokers.

The money might be sorted, but Kier's brand has been relentlessly trashed by hedgefunds and their accomplices in the press and the investment world for the last two years. It needs repairing. Successes should be talked about; look at how the press characterise Kier -- always negatively.

Incidentally, PR people do not go anywhere near new business and have no idea what 'margin' is; Kier has dedicated bid teams internally for that.

The money is as good as sorted now stdyeddy. Rather than trying to pump the share price the PR would be better focussed on winning new business at decent margins.

Yes. Speak to your broker/trading platform. They will sort it for you.

The outcome from the equity raise hasn't hit the financial press yet. All I'm seeing are the headlines from yesterday that the raise had been launched -- nothing about how it's been a big success and is oversubscribed. That newly promoted pr woman needs to get on the wires!

You talked this down from 55p MP. You are a born 'boring' loser.

I pick a stock I like and trade it. In this case Kier, for 2 years - bullied down and priced to fail by scumbags front running Woodford getting out. This is what brought me here. If you, like me never believed Kier would go out of business this was an absolute no-brainer and too cheap to ignore. How could it when a new gov. says it is going to build build (Kier being one of the main builders!) and there are 20,000 employees - Not a great start for the PM if Kier goes down after a few months in charge. It;s like the gov. warned the lenders off and told them to give Kier a bit of rope (don't let Wally get his hands on it!).
When it comes to the latest raise I admit to being wet behind the ears on this topic but looking at the price action this morning it appears to have been a resounding success.

Well done Davies. You are set to become even wealthier with those share options.
Can anybody remind me of them?

Wally I hope you got on Tescos like I said - still a bit of room north. With Kier and Burford I have had a fantastic couple of months.

Honestly, I think he was brave to post that. I didn't sell because of Wally but he did blunt my bullishness a little. I sometimes think it's better to totally avoid the message boards and just stick to RNSs and general research but, it is nice to have a chat and exchange views. Just a shame that there are always those with agendas lurking, some more obvious than others. Very pleased for everyone that has stuck this out.
