13/5/2021 08:14 | What a shame we didn't take Wally up on his placing LOL He was giving the market shares at 50p!!!!!!!and he still has them. Wally - you are embarrassing yourself now. It's a new chapter by the looks of it now for Kier and the share price is not even going to get anywhere near the levels you sold at - I say this with confidence. | johnbuythedips
13/5/2021 08:02 | I don't comment much, but think you will be rong here Wally. Still a lot to play for but as John says it's the "bad news" out - now we move on. And maybe it does explain the odd forward movement in the share price over last few days. Remember Sky reported that Hinds may have been tied up in placing with sale of Living. Maybe he even influenced final decision on price? I think when the dust settles we will be in a much, much better place. But a few bumps and some turbulence to come! | gerhart
13/5/2021 07:54 | It's as good as done Gerhart. This will explain the strength in the share price over the last few weeks. That surprised me regarding the bookbuild too. Unless I am mistaken this is going to be good for Kier. It's like a big weight being lifted for investors, clarity is all that was needed. | johnbuythedips
13/5/2021 07:54 | Yes you are reading it wrong. The firm placing is underwritten but no investors yet.The underwriters will have a massive runt placing at a much lower price later. | wallywoo
13/5/2021 07:53 | Wally are you holding on for profit or are you guna cash if the share price gets anywhere near. You'll sleep well tonight | claymagnet
13/5/2021 07:50 | Am I reading it rong - or is half the amount already in the bag: The Bookbuild is expected to close no later than 12p.m. on 13 May 2021 , subject to acceleration. Timing of the closing of the Bookbuild and allocations are at the discretion of the Joint Bookrunners and the Company. Details of the results of the Capital Raise will be announced as soon as practicable after the close of the Bookbuild. If so, then the RI will also be assured as any not taken up will be mopped up later. Still the share price will fall....for now? | gerhart
13/5/2021 07:49 | You sound desperate now Woodford you've stated your position you want this to fail so you have no credibility as others have pointed out | ontheforks
13/5/2021 07:48 | Ha ha Wally. This is not a con-investment and I can assure you that the major shareholders will have given this the nod and committed. I am surprised at the price - I expected it to be lower. It's actually higher than your made up average which says a lot for your decision making. | johnbuythedips
13/5/2021 07:38 | Of course you are, since you are a paid ramper!!!! I would advise anyone holding this to sell fast. May get 90p for the first few minutes of opening today. It will fall quickly later. Not one bit of information on H2 trading and debt. What a con investment. | wallywoo
13/5/2021 07:35 | I'm 100% in. | johnbuythedips
13/5/2021 07:33 | He is going to pull this off. They know investors are going to fill their boots here. I like the confidence. Andrew Davies, CEO, commented: "Today's proposed capital raise represents the final milestone in the Group's strategy to simplify the Group; to improve cash generation; and to strengthen our balance sheet. This capital raise will provide Kier with the financial and operational flexibility to continue to pursue our strategic objectives, within our chosen markets, and to facilitate investment in the business to help drive sustainable, profitable organic growth and the achievement of our medium-term financial targets" | johnbuythedips
13/5/2021 07:33 | It has been manipulated higher. There are no confirmed buyer's for the firm offer. This story has a lot further to run. Expect share price to fall rapidly on open. | wallywoo
13/5/2021 07:30 | good timing eh! when the share price has doubled off the lows. | technowiz
13/5/2021 07:30 | Carillion had a £16b order book. What happened to them?? | wallywoo
13/5/2021 07:26 | A failing company with an £8 billion order book? | soulected
13/5/2021 07:17 | Lol, well here comes the equity issue. £241m is huge, there are no details on how much cash they are losing in H2. IMO, this will fail just like the last one. It is too large. They have no details for the firm placing, so it is likely that will fail too. You are just financing a failing company. SP will be 50p in a few weeks. Kier are 80 percent through H2, but there are no details of current debt. IMO investors will not support this raise, and underwriters will have a massive runt to place. Expect mayhem. | wallywoo
13/5/2021 05:31 | With the current supply issues, it is going to see of a lot of firms, who haven't got much resilience, and understanding long term finance arrangements | bathboy2
12/5/2021 16:55 | Christ Almighty Stdy 778k short! You'll frighten the life out of the poor lad! | claymagnet
12/5/2021 16:40 | As it says on IG, share has been manipulated down over the last few years, but now it appears to be going the other way, but why, when no one is meant to know the placement price, (has it been set yet) , with so few private investors in kier, is it not ripe for an institution to load up with 30% plus to force a takeover, | bathboy2
12/5/2021 15:38 | You’ve probably got lots of Uncles lol but this Uncle, Uncle John told you at 50/60 and 70 to get out. Remember Uncle John’s freighted. Listen to him next time! | johnbuythedips
12/5/2021 15:37 | Where did you get out should I say where did the IG robot stop you out at? Start being honest boy! | johnbuythedips
12/5/2021 15:04 | You're very, very, very quiet over there wallo-poppet, whereas normally you're posting non-stop on here. Something troubling you? Or are you working on draft 2 of your apology, now that we're once again over 100p? Do the words 'totally found out' and 'utterly ridiculous fibber' and 'idiotic fantasist' mean anything for you in a personal sense? Has your mum taken your laptop away? Are you hiding under your bed? Have you been arrested for crimes against the investment community, libel, price manipulation, and bad dress sense? It used to be impossible to shut you up, but now, when I can have the most fun with you, you go all silent on us. Yet more shame on you wally-chops. | stdyeddy
12/5/2021 14:03 | Early July, by when the share price will be around 130.00 IMO. GLA Longs | pric9447 |
