Wouldnââ¬â¢t be surprised if a bid comes in 6 months time same scenario happed with options in I3e with takeover and many companies approached them.Took the best offer on the table Which was only a 40% increase.
What we may see is a split of the company with one part been taken over.
How much would 800,000 oz of platinum be worth and growing to a company like Anglo.
5-6p
Frog I feel very comfortable after making 60% on Cere last month and is why I have so many shares.
Hopefully will catch Adejuk up

Had this happen at I3e fid was selling then came the takeover and the rest is history.
Shame had a 10% div yield and like jubilee the company was going forwards into 2025.
Hence why Iam here my 3rd choice of investment after Cere ðŸâ°ðŸâ°ðŸâ°
So when funds come available ( most months I will continue to top up at these lovely low prices

Interesting speculation about a takeover. We are certainly extremely vulnerable. I'm not sure what price would swing it but right now it would be nothing like 20p. This is the danger if constant dilution and missed targets. Depressed shareprice leads to holder fatigue. My average is around 4p so a bid of 8p and I would double my money. I would be extremely pissed off with that. If a bid came in at 16p now I would be very tempted. No doubt this will eventually be a billion £ company but time ticks on for us all. Once this pesky fund clears we should see a rise and then we will know where we really are. It is absolutely vital that we start to grow revenue, prove everything works, and avoid dilution at these ridiculous prices.Build some trust, give shareholders confidence they will not keep getting diluted, and the rewards will come. As for new stock/projects, let IRH finance them and take a smaller piece of the pie. I'm adding at the current lows as I think we are at bottom.Frog
Mr Waite
I would hold as their is more upside over the next year but agree we are vulnerable to a takeover at these low price
Think you will be surprised at what investment companies will take.
Just came out of a takeover at I3e shareholders shafted for a low takeover offer.
Most of the shares were held by investment companies who doubled their investment.
8p and I would sell but Iam a newbie on here so would be happy to sell my holding for a 80% return.
I don't think the current sp would have a great deal of bearing on the takeover price Genises. Noone owns enough stock to start the process and large shareholders will not take anything that doesn't give them a substantial profit.
Global demand is poised to jump at least 60% by 2050, according to the International Energy Agency. Analysts at Jefferies expect prices for the red metal to rise more than 40% in the next two years.
Yet new copper mines are proving difficult to develop, due in part to opposition from Indigenous groups, conservationists, local communities and others.
The difficult backdrop has pushed BHP, Rio Tinto, Glencore and other diversified miners of iron ore, nickel and other critical minerals to hunt for deals to boost their copper output even while balancing shareholders' expectations for payouts.
Surprise we havenââ¬â¢t seen a takeover at these low shareholders price.

8.2p takeover, never going to happen, the BOD wouldn't recommend it, Slaters would never accept that, an most holders would come together to resist it.
Min offer for serious consideration I reckon 20p and i would feel robbed

The price will not move positively and to any significant level until the market
a; knows about JLP
b; starts trusting what it is told regarding share issues and dilution
c; starts believing all the hype and tripe that keeps getting promised and does not materialise
I don't think any of this will happen so I am pinning my hopes on;
a; a gradual increase in profits which must drag the sp with it once dividends start to appear
b; a takeover anything north of 12p

Interesting thought. That would give the sp a mighty boost. Only drawback is that it would give the takeover company all our inside knowledge.
Closed periods relate to insiders dealing in the company shares. ie directors and employees. It does not stop a company issuing an rns. More interesting to me is what Leon has been doing. He has effectively split the company into two with it's own board in SA.He took on a higher quality broker RBCThe thought being to advise us on partnership/ corporate activityCould it be the activity is a demerger, and to float off the SA arm, probably for the value of the whole company at the moment and become a pure copper play, giving us massive funding, in the most exciting commodity, putting us right in the takeover sights of a big company?,

I am really getting fed up with taking all the real early risk and then getting a takeover offer that does not reflect the growth potential.
It has happened twice this year, MC Mining and again this week with Plant Healthcare.
With JLP we can see what effect increasing the copper output from say 3250 tonnes to nearly 25000 tonnes in FY2025 and very shortly thereafter o 40,000 so the sooner we get confirmation that we have produced over 1500 tonnes in a month the better.
I do not think we will get a takeover offer but we will require some careful cash management as our working capital will be surging for the next three to four months.
We need to see our profits get over the $100m as this threshold allows a lot more funds to become shareholders.

I wouldn't go spreading that about ;-)

News needed to halt downward drift, and boost the SP before somebody engineers a takeover at a silly low price.
IMHO, GLA.
