we now have a news vacuum with JSE where we know production will increase in the coming weeks, we also know that the have tested the wells at 54mcf combined do there is scope for additional production of 34mcf that can be sold.

Also we have condensate sales and LPG to start immentley. This is now looking like a solid investment and no doubt a re-rating should follow in due course as investors will no doubt slowly start arriving back with less risk now on the table the investment case should get stronger.

Great update I`m still betting on a bolt on asset to be delivered in short order.

I was spitting daggers this morning when I saw this and thought that why oh why did they produce the update with the guidance downgrade two days before first contractual gas from Akatara? IR has since told me that it was to do with Aim regulations on guidance so that’s me back in my box…

As for the news today, it’s obviously fantastic and the company should be congratulated on delivering what I agree is ‘no small task’. With all the other positive drivers coming through in short, medium and the long term Jadestone covers all bases and is now recovering fast.

I think another Aquisition will be announced within 8 weeks.

Just gut feeling, I think if they were prepared to go for woodstone assets they must be looking at others too!

Share price barely reacting :(

I was reflecting that given the financial difficulties/equity raise/dilution entailed with Akatara - it would be interesting to calculate whether the venture is in toto a net positive or has been a white elephant!!! (Sunk costs and an academic inquiry)

Going forward Akatara will be a valuable source of free cash flow / low production costs / fixed price gas at healthy margins :)

Well if a company with no cash flow can get better loan terms on assets in Angola than a company that has production for years in Asia and Australia perhaps it tells you something about the quality of the management of JSE...
