Offshore Alliance page looks like a crazy conspiracy page.

Share price dropping at this point is alarming.

It is an operations / engineering start-up process - both Akatara Plant and end customers!!

First Gas has been introduced to the system and start-up processes/checks/hand-over from contractor staff is ongoing / refer to recent RNS on the same!!

First gas delivery was guided for July 2024 / and should if all is well be conveyed at the month end update!

Is it an engineering situation or a commercial decision we're waiting on for first gas sales?

This might be a bit conspiratorial but last year the update was on the 20th of July and was not notified in advance. This year it is on the 29th and has been notified. Normally companies update on the same day / near as possible each year which suggest to me they are expecting first gas sales on or around the 20th so the are delaying the trading update so they can be sure they don't have to face shareholders until it has happened!

I'm pretty pleased for us, and his family.

TBH he never had any skin in the game so this comes as no surprise.

the issue is they are or were basically a team of the SIMILAR AGE (and now it shows) group from previous occupations. mentors, successions etc is a very serious bussiness building stone. i can not feel it at smaller UK oil companies.

probably also eu (i am EU) vs anglo cultural issue

i just mention it on txp board - lack of a competent HR department. this business like engineering is not like marketing or finances where one can simply recycle the talent. it is built.

it would be good we get some info on HR politics at the next Q session

That's 2 CFO's who have left the company in 2 years to spend more time with their family. I think the market would be more responsive if Blakeley was to depart and spend more time with his family.

my close friend was on a board of a top german conglomerate. each member was getting psychologist hours regulary. like sportsmen.

before he moved to take on a continent he was asked - does your family support moving.

because if they do not we know no man can battle two wars and win.

it is a very serious issue. either or.

Guessing family didn't like lifestyle out there and went back? Two years a long time for anything to happen.

It comes across as such / and repeatedly your tenor has direct or undercurrents of negativity towards JSE!

I would convey a target price mid-way between current price and 12 month analyst consensus around the mid 60s (Excluding Jefferies)!! About 48-50p to start with !!

And with deleveraging hopefully it translates to the market cap component of EV increasing!!!

Not a single part of my comment was 'trolling'

What do you think 'The Montara effect' included..... Very sceptical costs at montara and stag will drop like their multi year forecasts predict, is there a new COO yet? The current personal got JSE into this mess.

Ash, where do you think the share price should be now and predict will be year end?

Tyrus have been kind - didn't boot the CFO out post the RBL debacle / have eased him out!

Hopefully we get a finance exec who is hungry and proactive - rather than a reactive lifestyle executive...

Also interesting the RNS states one of the reasons is to rejoin his family when in his appointment rns (28 June 22) it states

"Mr Dijkstra will relocate with his family to Singapore, in line with Jadestone's strategy of ensuring that senior management are positioned close to its assets and finance teams in the Asia-Pacific region."

Sounds to me like he has been manoeuvred out after all of the debacles last year, now that the company is back on a more solid footing. Hardly effusive - thanking him for his efforts and for a smooth transition. Nothing about achievements!
