Talking to yourself again Stain, get in and BUY you may recoup some of those heavy losses.

Stain, I won't answer your pm's, and I accept your apology and hope the new psychotic drugs start to help you get well.

I thought the results were fine, not amazing, but not warranting a sub 80p share price I'm not sure what the market was expecting. I'm guessing that we were unlucky that they were released on a bad market day.
Anyway should help the buybacks.

Playing out exactly as I thought it would. Consolidating very nicely for a strong rise within the next few days. DYOR.

Nothing wrong with these results but the market is in a sullen mood this morning. Also, a sell-off on results is par for the course these days unless they are quite surprisingly good.

Most of the trade imbalance is accounted for by a single large sale just before 9 a.m. It might have helped sentiment if they had added a small incremental increase to the interim dividend to assert confidence.

With the improved underlying trend now in place it may be an opportune time to grab a few more for the divi which should increase eventually.

It is a solid set of results.
With the dividend yield and takeover prospects, the share is worth over 90p

Netcurtains is a liar. Ignore him/her.

As for itv. A classic tree shake, weeding out the weak. Will be over 90p within the week.

Yes agree. I've moved from more speculative AIM shares to high dividend more blue chip types in recent years. The dividend is comforting and tends to pull the price back up compared to jam tomorrow AIM shares with a price often based on little more than hope!

As I say, that is why it pays to invest in stocks like ITV that have good dividend cover.

Luckily I've invested mainly in stocks that pay big dividends so either way its OK.
ITV gives a 6% dividend yield.
