I sold out of ITV way back, actually posted on it at the time. However after I sold the share price kept falling and went as low as 53p which I thought was cheap as chips. Anyways I start buying again in the mid 50's and am now holding more than I had originally. I would like to say it was my shrewdness in selling but it was my need for funds at the time.

I hope to watch ITV grow it's share price, I am not in it hoping for a bid. IMO ITV is in the right place to be a serious player in the future. It is becoming more watched than I thought it ever could!

Johnny, isn't Goldfinger's big D Day on a Friday in June, if his source is right about a bid in June, they are very quiet. Let's see if the MM's have got a whiff of anything. Oh, just thought, did he mean this June? lol

Don't hold your breath.

Summary

All markets are timed by city dealers. Todays dealers. Probably not the case years ago. So if you dont time it and do well, ..just got lucky on their timing dudes

maybe some saw the dropping price post december, as value buying/building? Was a bit pointless as it was obviously going to get time cost to cash value

only question now is, how long is long term?

i guess the reduce/sell future prices determine that

Some may have been aggressive buyers lower, knowing management were at point critical

As easy as 1-2-3 for shorters and those waiting passively buyside

Shorters had to be out near event, as all market knew that if management failed to come up with something, 20s was not far away

So, tell you what lads, there are a lot of smart dealers out there using that .

Example, building within the long term money for many months buy side only. And then taking the hold price with that , as they would class it, free money built up, for the hold etc

As the man from del monte says

"take the long termers money, and use it near term to long lol"

That was annoying about never time markets, it's time in markets

it's so obvious that the purchase shown was timed. Just not as tightly. Quarterly or a form monthly etc. No issue, timing within that timing for better prices imo and a build
