Stan, posting 24/7 to yourself is a mental lllness, now buck up on the medications and get back to the village.

Stansmith1, that village you live in are missing you, they need their resident idiot back to cure their insomnia, the residents say a few minutes of Stan whining about the mysterious villain Goldfinger guaranteed them a good night's kip.

ADVFN isn't a village, so your term as ADVFN idiot is redundant.

Screw 80p, lets pop straight to 90p!

Have a good weekend all. Post those weekend ITV articles if you can find 'em!

As I posted last week, bigger volumes on the run up.

Watch for large volumes on the days to Tripple Witching.

Stay long!

It's a pretty good signal that they have plenty of spare cash swilling around.......

So is this the deal that goldfinger was on about or was that a actual tender offer for the whole Co.

Not sure why they want to retire debt. It doesn't roll over for a couple more years and the coupon is only 1.375%.

I imagine some of the proceeds from the BritBox sale will be going towards retiring that debt and not the buybacks (not that I expected the full proceeds to be used for buybacks anyway).

Interested to hear more insightful views...

RNS

"today an invitation to holders of its outstanding €600,000,000 1.375 per cent. Notes due 26 September 2026 (ISIN: XS2050543839) (the Notes) to tender such Notes for purchase by the Offeror for cash (such invitation, the Offer), subject to the satisfaction or waiver of the New Issue Condition (as defined below)."

Looks like ITV has spare funds to cancel some of it's existing debt! Wow!

"Subject as set out herein, up to €240,000,000 in aggregate nominal amount"

If I am reading this right - they have upto €240m available to cancel some of this debt if the holders want to. They would only do this if they had spare cash rolling in... Wow again!

Volatility trades are straddles & strangles right option side?
Memory getting a tad hazy as I only ever looked at such in theory, decades ago, rather than utilising.

Some mm manipulation past couple of days with a tree shake. Reckon the sheer weight of upward pressure will see this bash my 80p prediction by close tho.

Blimey, that’s a game changer. The chart is shouting out a break above 280p, but I couldn’t see the catalyst…..this could be it.

What a breakthrough!
