Banijay are the biggest “independent” production studios outside the US, I believe? With ITV Studios second in size?

Huckers...Banijay keep coming up regarding ITV. Isn't James Murdoch inked to the company. ITV Studios are worth about as much of that £2.9bn the whole caboodle is valued at on MktCap.

It can only be obvious to the big players that ITV is undervalued, how long before the stock gets a proper re-rating.

banijay - ITV : Does appear to be biased in favour of British TV: It lists its stuff as:

Survivor, Big Brother, Peaky Blinders, MasterChef, Rogue Heroes, Marie Antoinette, Mr Bean, The Summit, Black Mirror, Deal or No Deal Island, and Upside Down

It could be a way for ITV to replace Britbox?

I recently noticed that Banijay formed a production company called “ITV Movie”.

How did they get away with that? I assume it’s registered overseas hence no trademark issues. Odd choice of name!

Definitely worth 2 minutes of your time this weekend - SAS interview Alex Maison, Head of Digital Ad Platforms, ITV.

ITV is in a great position. It has leading edge tech and in-demand content.

What a bargain with just a £3bn market cap! :)
