Oh dear - Board depending into chaos with name calling act lead by JB (a reference to the size of condom he'd love to wear if he could ever get it up.....)

Spud..you mean 'descending' don't you? I agree with most, your posts are lame, at least some on here have a soh.

You see JB, anyone can do it, but it's not clever (a bit like you I guess).

Ramping...that's funny, Warren Buffett couldn't successfully ramp ITV in the last 5 years. Don't rampers flood the thread with bullish comments. Goldfinger posts sporadically and in fairness has been correct on many things. If MM's were not assisting in the hoovering up of millions of shares, how did Silchester accumulate 5% as the share price fell....makes no sense.

If it's guesswork or luck, then he must have a crystal ball.

A buyback hasn't started yet and won't send the share price zooming up even if they can fulfill their orders.

I welcome news being posted if it's news and not just pure speculation and ramping.

Any news keep posting Goldfinger, they can filter you if they think it's fake.

I might not agree with everything you say, goldfinger, but you seem to talk sense and you've the right to speak. So don't let the cyber bullies win. Like jonny says (love the point about Spud, made me laugh!!) they're probably all the same person anyway - within 10 minutes of an anti-goldfinger post it gets loads of thumbs up. Funny that!

Blackdonkey, you have shown your complete ignorance and lost all credibility with those two posts. I think you need to get your care worker to check your posts before you submit them.

Nowhere did it say it would start on the 7th. It said in an eighteen month period would starts on the 7th.

I think buy back will be suspended, supposed to start from 7th as mentioned in RNS. Buyback & dividends could be suspended & subject to shareholders approval. last RNS is misleading. Group has high debt & loss making currently , how will they pay dividends & share buy back?? Debt needs to pay 1st? It's my opinion only

Well said, goldfinger, but don't give up posting, you're just giving in to the trolls, who are most likely the same poster anyway! Thick as planks, potato head for example is such a senile old duffer he has to sign off with his name to remind himself who he is LOL!!!! 😆

For the impatient ones and doom mongers let me point out from the RNS the following ....

Purchases of Shares pursuant to the Programme will take place during a period starting on 7 March 2024 and ending no later than 29 August 2025 (the "Engagement Period"). Under the Programme ITV will purchase Shares from Morgan Stanley on the London Stock Exchange.

Once it starts it won't matter what's going on in the FTSE or over the water in the US it will be a simple case of supply and demand. As of today we have two relatively small shorters and one just under the threshold (circa 60 million shares required). Looking at the bigger picture we have a much big fish swimming around hunting for around 350 million shares.

Light blue touch paper and stand back.
