12/2/2023 13:29 | If we have no grid news within a few months it will be telling. Most so far telecom/fibre. | p1nkfish
12/2/2023 12:46 | The SSP Vision system seems quick and very user friendly. That's the danger of losing Peter Batty that could have been a IQGEO application. | red ninja
12/2/2023 09:05 | Comsof has helped them move off the beaten track. IQGEO/Comsof experience wanted buy Utilities One in Tbilisi (Geeorgia) and Bucharest. Some useful field based basic AI might be added value like the SSP Innovations capability. Another reason to look to IQGEO if they had it available. Needn't be too complicated. Recognition of installed product with relevant location etc tied back to records and inventory levels - may already be in the IQGEO mix? | p1nkfish
11/2/2023 22:19 | A potential add-on to allow interface to? | p1nkfish
10/2/2023 11:05 | Be on guard for a slap down in price. Possible looking at current price, volume, news. Hopefully steady as she goes. If no slap down then up towards the targeted 220-224p level. | p1nkfish
09/2/2023 13:31 | Always good to see real numbers for £'s on an RNS. What I suspect is a rotation of holders is taking place. Some out, some in. | p1nkfish
09/2/2023 10:02 | IQG are now my #1 ISA holding and I'm very happy with that. No positive reaction to the AT&T expansions news at present but that's IQG for you: mostly under the radar but quietly building a world-beating GIS software service. Final results should be out approx 22nd March and more contract wins are no doubt on the way this year. | w13ken
09/2/2023 08:15 | Good news, land & expand. | p1nkfish
07/2/2023 22:30 | Good spot pf. This Distributech event could be a game-changer if customers compare GIS tools side-by-side and come to the conclusion that IQGeo is the only company providing state of the art capabilities for teams out in the field. | w13ken
07/2/2023 21:40 | Various new product releases at Distributech, some including vegetation management, but missing, from what I can see: 1) easy mobile integration from the field, not mobile first, 2) easy contractor integration including bring your own device - byod, 3) full decentralisation of data/record input? A couple........ Infosys setting up centre of excellence for GE Digital Grus OS, | p1nkfish
07/2/2023 07:09 | Doubt any need to PR Adaptive Grid very widely. They are in the right place to promote it and an RNS probably wont drum up much more in the way of sales. It would however stretch the share price further which might not be wanted at this stage. Anyway, pretty sure Distrubutech will be a very useful platform for IQGEO. | p1nkfish
06/2/2023 07:55 | Kestrel 12.5K at 205p buy. | p1nkfish
04/2/2023 12:01 | Last time we were around this point was 1st May 2014 and heading down now heading up. A large bowl formation. Website (3rd Feb) says Adaptive Grid will be launched at Distributech and gives the IQG ticker symbol, suggests they might PR the product release. | p1nkfish
03/2/2023 17:45 | Henderson sold about £997K from memory, even though they see a pathway. Henderson (OT) performance was poor last year, they should have kept IQG in there and dumped more of the rubbish. "We also took profits in some long held smaller company positions such as transportation software provider Tracsis and utilities/telecommun | p1nkfish
02/2/2023 09:54 | Good spot pf. Corning also working with Brightspeed, another major US telecom customer of IQGEO. I think it was after the Brightspeed contract that RP said that puts us in the big leagues, and IQG is now in business with a host of blue-chip companies. Very impressive customer base. IQGEO Adaptive Grid looks tailor-made for the Ferc Order - huge potential. | horseyphil
02/2/2023 09:10 | Doubt the silence is for any reason other than IQGEO are very busy growing and not wanting to over promote prospects and to avoid giving info away to competitors. The Utility side is expected to be a bigger opportunity than Fibre and Distributech next week as a big sales pitch opportunity. With WAPA already on side plus others, IQGEO Adaptive Grid to promote, Ferc Order 2222 In place, US spending on grid increasing - expect news in the next 6 months imho. | p1nkfish
02/2/2023 09:03 | $29Bn Corning, using IQGEO, partly for AT&T FTTx. Having Corning specifically asking for IQGEO experience is important, Corning on side in this instance is massive validation. Corning are investing in change: "Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry. This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use." | p1nkfish
31/1/2023 11:29 | NFU Mutual reduced. IQGEO holdings website updated quickly, today. | p1nkfish
30/1/2023 10:05 | British Consulate at Distrubutech, netowrking. Hope IQGEO are involved, at least aware. Expecting price to fall back but will hit a buy-zone above 180p somewhere. 183p is line in sand from what I see, buyzone could now be a decent amount higher than 183p, even at 198p-202p. Don't be freaked out if there is some weakness. It will come roaring back imho. Dyor etc. | p1nkfish
28/1/2023 18:36 | 3%+ holders updated 27th January but doesn't appear to account for recent volumes with only Charles Stanley increasing about 60K shares compared to last 3% update early January. | p1nkfish
27/1/2023 23:18 | Today was 43x the 3 month average daily volume. A controlled transfer and the new holder not buying for only a 5% upside. Been a while since we had this daily, weekly & monthly turn-over in shares. | p1nkfish
27/1/2023 17:29 | Also interesting to note how the share price fell from around 146p in June to 125p in August just in advance of the Comsof acquisition announcement on 12 August. Of course, the placing to fund the acquisition was at 125p, as were the Consideration Shares issued to Comsof, and on which they've made a nice, quick gain. I don't know enough about how MMs operate to understand why this should be the case, but it often seems to indicate that something is going on when the spread widens out - and for the past week the spread here has been 200-214 or 200-210. | horseyphil
27/1/2023 17:19 | Depends on when revenue lands & initial value & how long they have to report it. Not strictly illegal and next to impossible to prove given the rate of growth. Maintaining an orderly market, with such a tightly held share, is good for everyone. May not even be happening but something I would look to do if I were them - they must have an inkling of who the seller and buyers are at that volume. Most of the 2%+ have been around a long while and be known. The old adage of "leave something on the table for the next man" exists for a reason. Management wouldn't want a disgruntled new holder at volume if the price drops precipitaly after a volume transfer. No surprise to find IQGEO and Finncap manage things as carefully as they can. That is good if so. | p1nkfish
27/1/2023 17:05 | Mmm wouldn't that be illegal ? | red ninja |
