So it turns out there are two possibilities regarding our new CFO given the below fact.

Fact: He was there for a year and managed to guide ARM to a round of redundancies.

Possibility 1: he was made redundant and has to sit out his gardening leave. Probably unlikely.

Possibility 2: he, and/or ARM, were approached by IQE for the vacant position and he, and/or ARM, jumped at the chance to change/avoid a redundancy package.

lols. I wonder if IQE knew about the situation or not.

Expecting shorts to close, usually 3 days delay in finding out % short numbers.

Agree this will be able £1 - £1:20 very soon

I expect Marshall and Coltrane to reduce atleast half a percent this week. 90p is very likely and a £1 before month ends. IMHO. DYOR

Yes I believe the CFO is a good appointment. Came very late but they have done it now so that box is ticked. I also believe the share price has bottomed out. No lower to go than this. So two huge items derisked for me.

Still trying to decide what will give it the legs to go back up to 120's. Ideally I would like to buy now and ride up to 120's.

Anyone have an idea of what can give us upward momentum from here?

In the meantime I am over at VRS hoping for two quid by year end on the announcement of a supply contract.

Odey reduced significantly on Friday after opening their short as recently as 28th September. The timing of the reduction after the very recent 0.5% short was interesting. I wonder if they thought a CFO appointment was likely to be announced.

I presume you meant ‘a floor under’ rather than ‘a lid on’ the sp?

Not wishing to tempt fate, but this appointment should put a lid on the share price even though we hit 70p last week, I don't think we'll be going back there unless Lite/ Appl really disappoint. Will consider small top ups as funds become available.

I do hope the new cfo starts sooner rather than later,to many shanaggans happen between rns and start date.

Mass roll out of Face ID or similar will be the precursor imo, we have essentially only seen one company roll this out til now...then 5G.

A new CFO is a good start. Step by step, the share price will start re-buidling. 5G will be the precursor.

I’m not sure we will hit 88p today and neither are you Mhasssanriaz, but I do expect shorts to drop from current levels before more updates land and they get stranded.

Lets see how Yankees welcome the new CFO. I am expecting 88-90p close today. Shorts are likely to go below 9% by end of this month.

good news at last.
a new brush with a new approach is what the company needs. No reflection on the staff but these days innovation in all departments becomes outdated fairly quickly & this
experienced CFO will have the clout to deal with all contingencies.
