09/10/2018 12:18 | A good time to announce the new CFO | wendybatt1
09/10/2018 11:06 | FYI, N+1 Singer's market round-up this morning notes that IQE are commencing an Investment Roadshow on October 11th. Many thanks Adventurous and Rivaldo. Hopefully will stimulate some institutional interest. | bocase
09/10/2018 10:43 | bocase - rivaldo provided the reminder last Friday rivaldo 5 Oct '18 - 08:21 - 21512 of 21606 FYI, N+1 Singer's market round-up this morning notes that IQE are commencing an Investment Roadshow on October 11th. | adventurous
09/10/2018 10:18 | No there "hiring" them out | biglad1
09/10/2018 10:11 | Ipavlou/davemac If insti's sold higher than £1.40, given the size, we are talking insti buyers, so be it original holders or higher, there will be insti's demanding to know what is going on. Ipavlou, Yes, I had same thought a while back.. if insti's came in at say less than the £1.40, say 90p, they would grab a share of the cream us LTH's have been sitting on and waiting for for years..so, in the hoped for bigger picture, we haven't been shafted on the tangible issue price, but are currently shafted on intangible sh*rted current share price .but that we believe is temporary and not the end of the world for LTH. 09/10/2018 09:17 | Have faith gents this is getting intresting. Its not shorts its PI panic. Sell more to funds. I have loaded more but small value. | mhassanriaz
09/10/2018 09:16 | Davemac, those that participated in the placing probably sold out in the first week when the price shot up. There was no lock in period. The good news is that we raised the cash at that level and so don't need to raise now with the share price sub80p | lpavlou
09/10/2018 09:14 | It would be nice to get a status of the new machines. At the tour following the AGM a number of us suggested that it might be worth some form of communication with the market once they were all commissioned and working. I'm not sure whether the absence of news means nothing, or whether they're not all working yet. | fredfishcake
09/10/2018 08:58 | thought we might have heard something about the new CFO, even along the lines of Joe Bloggs has been appointed new CFO, he will take up his position on 1/1/2019 as he has to work his notice etc | davemac3
09/10/2018 08:39 | Silence from management! They must be superbly confident of delivering the results or totally inept at communication. I am not sure which it is. | bocase
09/10/2018 08:36 | Those that took part in the placing at 140p must be asking a few questions | davemac3
09/10/2018 08:22 | Just closed my latest short. I think I will leave this one for a while now, so in the interim, best of luck to the longs! | belt n braces
09/10/2018 08:22 | Totally agree, I will keep drip feeding till it goes back to 100.00 | johnwalton54
09/10/2018 08:13 | Juluman: Aim now is totally the plaything of hedge funds who bring their fire-power to bear plus use the internet to spread whatever story suits their book. Actual performance counts for nothing when they control the order book”. Seems to sum it up nicely but I would suggest that performance will 'eventually' win out. It makes a good case for a move to the main market though. | bocase
09/10/2018 08:07 | Adventurous: Can you remember the dates of the investor's roadshow please? | bocase
09/10/2018 08:02 | This comment is probably valid here as well: “Aim now is totally the plaything of hedge funds who bring their fire-power to bear plus use the internet to spread whatever story suits their book. Actual performance counts for nothing when they control the order book”. | juluman
09/10/2018 07:54 | Johnwalton54 - I see the story as - Hedge funds are finding it difficult to get any serious volume, so keep pushing down, whilst pushing out the same old unfounded concerns (not shared by the bulk of shareholders who continue to hold) - in desperation, to their various friendly 'outlets' - IQE due to showcase to investors must be a worry! | adventurous
08/10/2018 23:54 | Regarding the reference to hedge funds and "doubts about things as fundamental as a company’s technology leadership and its accounting practices", has anybody read any of these hedge funds' assessments of IQE? Are their assessments in the public domain or are they only available to a select few? | henchard
08/10/2018 22:55 | Thanks for posting the MF article.Utterly meaningless drivel! | marky60
08/10/2018 18:18 | Thanks for that. Not nice to read however Im long term so not too worried about the downward movement, gives me a chance to drip buy each month . | johnwalton54
08/10/2018 17:47 | JohnWalton: Motely Fool like many financial journalists just like to be right at the moment in time. As soon as it starts rising again they will call it a millionaire maker again and the best thing since sliced bread. THey have column inches to fill. I would not worry about it. The market won't. | bocase
08/10/2018 17:22 | I don't see the point of that Motley Fool article | davemac3
08/10/2018 17:17 | Im a LTH, this isn't helpful. hxxps://www.aol.co.u | johnwalton54 |
