Similar level of shorts were betting on an IQE share price fall when 24th July update came out but here we are at similar price levels now, I doubt anything particularly negative will come out, I'd be slightly more weighted to something more positive being revealed. However I think the shorts have a limited time to close, because I think the consistent support around £1 shows that the future share price is likely to be higher based upon earnings acceleration and announcements from our partners both of which we know are en route. Same old same old of course...

At some point (who knows when) the shorts will "get it" that they had a valid point at £1.80, after the phenomenal rise we had from 20p levels, however at £1, it just isn't the same scenario, just because they want it to be ;)

Over 1.25M shares sold between 10:00 and 13:00 today - the day before H1 2018 results announced. If you were long surely you'd wait for the anticipated rise given the significant share price increases seen for those of IQE's major customers like AMS, Lumentum etc., who have just announced their H1results and H2 18 forecasts. Despite the three or four significant trades, the share price showed resilience and has since moved up a tad. GLA LTH!

CEO out in the public domain right now speaks vols, and will have been planned some time ago. The start of a PR 'drum roll'..? Would bet against it.

Keep watching, shorts or no shorts, IQE now needs to play catch-up with peer group valuations. Period.

The future will be the only guide, let’s see where IQE share price is by the end of next year and then the year after. I am very comfortable with my investment. As always I back my own gut and filter out the white noise of both rampers and derampers, how ever subtle they may be ;)

You posted asking Adejuk to update you re this share.

Adejuk trades in and out in decent chunks in shares.

You then posted that it was a pile of poo.

Next up you say it had been pumped to you, pump and dump so buyers beware.

Who is the doing the pumping that you know of. That's why I popped over as pumping is going on by some that have bought.

So yes I agree with you there seems to be a bit of pumping going on by a few.

I don't have any and have never had any. IQE just gets mentioned a lot. A recall Cawkwell going on about his short before it went upon and that's about it on the bear side.

Results due this week so I'll have a read and see what happens to the share price on the day.

Just checked your posts I see you have called this a pump and dump recently before I popped over.

Just so you are aware I've had a look because it is being pumped but equally some are trashing others shares to try to get them to buy IQE, so yes it is being pumped on threads.

The question is can the pump be justified, hence the engagement.

I don't have any bob and don't intend to buy any, just trying to find out why it's getting mentioned a lot. The company has been going 25 years or so.

Just did a bit of looking and Rayrac was around on this 17 years ago so if he is still around then I suspect he knows quite a bit about IQE.

If I see superg posting on a stock , I stop looking any further . I was advised this was interesting last week by a pump and dump outfit. No surprise I find superg on the board . IOF and others were going to change the world.

Thanks. I appreciate the PE of growth companies is always well ahead I was just spelling out where the old measurement of a PE of 15 falls when companies top out on growth.

I'm not knocking IQE. Many say it's being heavily shorted, what is in the armoury to knock those shorters back near term. I know of old generally they just lie and try to scare investors into selling.

Some say this is going to see big share price rises, all I'm asking is why?. Is there a big seller in play other than shorts at this time.

Results out soon and as you know if there are shorts in they will trash those no matter what they say. The truth isn't in their game plan.
