26/1/2018 10:31 | fuji where is your rumour from? | adejuk
26/1/2018 10:27 | Sure that iPhone x sales are lower than expected, but the technology associated with IQE will probably feature in future models of phones and other. I can see my front door unlocking automatically as I approach it, and my car starting as I sit in it ...etc So I believe it much more than how many iphones have sold? I bought in under 20p originally and out at points along the way as high as 158/143 but in my opinion its now a good time to start building a position again which is exactly what I am doing. | hannath
26/1/2018 10:26 | I think management is preparing some information to re-assure investors and market. Expect a release of some sort of positives anytime today or Monday. Institutions probably have asked an explanation of the sharp drop without or with a reason. So something will come out but not sure if it will please the shorters. | fuji99
26/1/2018 10:20 | JPM and MS are of course, as usual, simply talking their book. As for iPhone X, the only info I have is that supply is less than demand in this country. Apple stores have little or no stock. Of course this country is unimportant from the standpoint of world sales, and limiting supply may well just be a marketing strategy. | horneblower
26/1/2018 10:20 | It will all be alright in the end. If it is not alright, then it is not the end. | coolhandfluke
26/1/2018 10:18 | #bookbroker I've said twice on this thread that 80p should be the lowest it goes and becomes a good entry point, anything less is discounting actual rather than potential. Might take a few weeks to get there but when it turns north again it will rocket as shorters leg it. | rathean
26/1/2018 10:13 | analysts are paid! | adejuk
26/1/2018 10:09 | Bull - it’s a fact from all research that IPhone X sales have been weak, either that or JPM, MS, etc are talking out of their butts, and every year that I can remember has Apple brought an upgrade for Xmas! | bookbroker
26/1/2018 10:03 | Apple's main focus at the moment appears, from statements that they have made, to be augmented reality. Apple has pre-ordered a massive quantity of VCSEL-based 3d scanning components from one of its American suppliers. This suggests to me that, even if the iPhone X does not sell well (and that is not yet proven....), VCSEL-based 3d scanning components will sooner-rather-than-l So....iPhone X news, positive or negative, is just a short term blip on a promising longer term trend. | jamesrowe
26/1/2018 09:53 | joeall; explained here: it's a fugazi | bulltradept
26/1/2018 09:52 | Uen already bagged this year and I think could ten bag. Pays a dividend, 2100 bopd production, 12m mkt cap. 26/1/2018 09:50 | The "O" trades mostly seem larger than the "AT" trades, yet it's the latter that moves the share price anyone explain please. | joeall
26/1/2018 09:35 | "it’s a shoe-in that iPhone X sales are not as strong as we believe, next iphone upgrade out later this year!" You got any hard data to back that up please? | bulltradept
26/1/2018 09:34 | I think the fact you are referring to involves "Traders" not Investors. | aphrodites
26/1/2018 09:32 | I’ll buy this, but at no more than 80p, it’s a shoe-in that iPhone X sales are not as strong as we believe, next iphone upgrade out later this year! | bookbroker
26/1/2018 09:32 | bookbroker, I mean WHO in their right mind would want to do a 'proper job'! | bulltradept
26/1/2018 09:31 | The same names crop up on all these boards that are collapsing suggesting they have been in there since the outset, just as well because they manage to give back all their profits, I suggest you all pile into DTY., now there’s an interesting proposition, an essential service we all may need at some point, it’s just how much you are prepared to pay for that service! | bookbroker
26/1/2018 09:28 | None, that’s why I do this rather a proper job, as they say 90% private investors lose money, the remaining 10% must be in this because it is doing so well!! | bookbroker
26/1/2018 09:24 | bookbroker Thank you for your very constructive input. There is a saying: He who knows not and knows not that he knows not is a fool; avoid him. He who knows not and knows that he knows not is a student; teach him. He who knows and knows not that he knows is asleep; wake him. He who knows and knows that he knows is a wise man; follow him. Why am I struggling to conclude which category applies to you???? | aphrodites
26/1/2018 09:22 | If it does start to bounce from here then a double bottom will be in place. That is our best hope from a technical point of view but fundamentals will overpower any technical trading in the long run anyway. When it is over £2 later this year or £5 in two or three years we will wonder why we worried..so best not to. | bocase
26/1/2018 09:16 | Surely this is all building up to the Apple results on Feb 1st? Shorters betting that poor results will see a further drop in price, maybe to around the 80-85 level. If results aren't as cataclysmic as some expect, there may be some buying pressure, and despite the best efforts of the shorters, 100p could be as low as this goes. Either way, I think after Feb 1st is judgement day, after which there will be a rapid closure of shorts and the share price will resume normal (upwards) business. Hope so anyway, this is getting REALLY boring now. | chessmaster10
26/1/2018 09:16 | Fairly clear that the price action has nothing to do with the company or its prospects. Lots of trading based around whether it will bounce towards 120 or test 100 again. It becomes a self-fulfilling prophesy until either news appears or someone starts to build a big position (long or short) which changes the balance of the market. For now, you either sit it out (whether you hold or not) or play the ups and downs, depending on your approach. | mad foetus
26/1/2018 09:13 | This is certainly having another hammering this morning. Maybe shorters determined to get it under a £1 and then then the negative press over the weekend will see another swathe of investors sell out of fear on Monday. | the juggler
26/1/2018 09:09 | pricey because of that..Shorters throwing all they can..At some point no ammo.. | tsmith2
26/1/2018 09:04 | I think people are waiting for £1 before being tempted back in. | lpavlou |
