29/1/2018 08:50 | tsmith:(post 12058) Yes you may well be right. It is quite conceivable that the result of those emergency meetings is " throw everything you have at it" | bocase
29/1/2018 08:47 | thecrunk Last word on VRS - not difficult to see the 'connections' re posters ;-) + its a stock where products won't be understood, except for graphene hype, where the increasing revenue is actually down to acquisitions. Easy to distort that for the punters. | yump
29/1/2018 08:43 | It is moving in correlation with Himax. IQE is allways overelastic to Himax but trails by a few days settling where Himax settles. Himax levelled out last week at an indicative price of 120 for IQE. But IQE due to its shorters ended 105p which was too low. This is just following Himax in terms of the crunk IQE/Himax correlation theory (patend pending) | thecrunk
29/1/2018 08:43 | where are the doomsayers? lol | john09
29/1/2018 08:40 | Shorters throwing everything they have, about to run out of fire power me things..this does feel as though there's some news afoot | tsmith2
29/1/2018 08:40 | I won't be selling either, but those who were smart enough to sell and buy back last week may be doing the rinse and repeat. We saw 50m volume on Thursday. That is the benchmark imo. | mad foetus
29/1/2018 08:38 | Foetus: I don't think I will be chancing selling now in the hop of buying back lower. If you look at the one minute chart we are seeing a normal pattern of a spike giving up nearly half of it's gain to short term profitakers/or panicking getter outers. That is normal. I would now expect it to climb again and get above the early morning high. | bocase
29/1/2018 08:33 | Come on. This time last week we all thought 120 was support. I suspect this is about getting more sellers and the price will be walked down again. If you are brave, sell now and buy back later. | mad foetus
29/1/2018 08:29 | Let's hope the shorters arrive at their plush city offices and have a very nasty surprise and start to panic buy to close the positions. It will be interesting to see if there is follow through buying. I can imagine emergency meetings taking place at this moment. | bocase
29/1/2018 08:27 | when bears use mainstream press so vocally... | tsmith2
29/1/2018 08:23 | Foetus: Sorry. I meant Qualcomm..just a bit over excited this morning. Yes IQE could end up a supplier to apple's chip suppliers. | bocase
29/1/2018 08:22 | More likely to be some shorts starting to close, would be going much higher if a sniff of a bid. Either way good warning shot for those shorts of how nimble they may need to be... | richardc77
29/1/2018 08:21 | Excellent news on the way | inv
29/1/2018 08:20 | Bo While I agree it could attract buyers/bidders at this price I think that the current moves are an attempt to produce despair and capitulation in PIs whose hopes and dreams will be destroyed as the early purchases are sold off. | arcadian
29/1/2018 08:19 | Verger: No I agree not a bid signal. A bid would be much higher but likely bid speculation? | bocase
29/1/2018 08:19 | Bocase I thought it was Qualcomm but think you are right. Intel was up 10% on Friday, it looks like the chip market is going to be blown wide open and the best products will triumph. | mad foetus
29/1/2018 08:15 | Intel massively fined for paying Apple illegally to use only their chips. Does this mean that IQE now has access to a massive new market for compound wafers from which the chips are made? | bocase
29/1/2018 08:15 | Up 15p is not a bid signal. | verger
29/1/2018 08:11 | I almost posted on Friday that this price would attract bid speculation. Who would not want to buy a ten pound note for a fiver? | bocase
29/1/2018 08:10 | Swiss company reporting record revenue for microchips to do with sensors for Iphones, etc.! | bookbroker
29/1/2018 08:08 | Bid, me thinks.. | tsmith2
29/1/2018 08:08 | Is this due to an article I heard about that Apple results are expected to be ahead of forecast? We are wrongly too closely associated with Apple. We have so many other irons in the fire! Not complaining today though! | owenga
29/1/2018 08:07 | Shorts closing. Amazing. Throw them life jackets everyone Serious something ia going on. Some investigate | thecrunk
29/1/2018 08:06 | Well, huge money to be made trading this but equally, with MMS willing to move it up or down 15% so quickly, easy to get locked in or out on the wrong side of the trade. | mad foetus |
