Charts show the past but do not predict the future, (unless mostly by coincidence). share price drivers are business results, positive newsflow , future outlook etc etc. I've never followed a chart but then I'm a long term investor with long term goals, not looking at possible short term trends.

2000 MAX. The price goes up in order to attract sellers when it is obvious that there is going to be a need for stock to satisfy the keen buyers expected in the hours/days ahead.

Yes I agree with you and we need to be aware of that. On the other hand watch out for American buying in the next couple of hours and likely some follow through for a couple of days based on news flow and broker upgrades.

Technology park plans on Circuit of Wales site move one step closer

PLANS for an automotive technology park where the Circuit of Wales was due to be built have moved a step forward.

Economy secretary, Ken Skates, yesterday chaired a meeting with industry figures from TVR, Ford, General Dynamics and IQE as well as representatives of Ebbw Vale Enterprise Zone, Blaenau Gwent council and Cardiff University, in order to develop detailed proposals for the Automotive Technology Park at Ebbw Vale.

Last month the economy secretary announced that the Welsh Government would invest £100m over ten years into the park with the potential to create up to 1,500 new full time jobs...

This article shows the weakness of putting too much emphasis on TA when judging a share.



It's dated yesterday.

IQE PLC has a 14-day Commodity Channel Index (CCI) of 117.66....
.... A CCI reading over +100 would suggest that the stock is overbought and possibly ready for a correction.

IQE’s Williams Percent Range or 14 day Williams %R presently is at -17.65. In general, if the reading goes above -20, the stock may be considered to be overbought.

A day later, the above looks a little silly.

This is also the best performing stock I hold, but closely followed by Bango, on a similar trajectory at present with seemingly lots of head room yet

I expect £1 will be a pausing point as many investors will have set it as a target sell not expecting it to get there so soon. (Level 2 analysis anyone?). It is certainly ahead of my expectations however it is now plain even from this board that a lot of PIs and IIs are piling in which pushes the uptick ever higher. It is behaving just like ARM of which I have very fond memories as it was my biggest ever multibagger but with a bigger stake from low levels it looks like IQE is going to be an even better money-spinner.
Thank you to Sweenoid as he helped me keep the faith when it dropped below 20p and i instead bought more. If ever I meet you (S) the drinks are on me.

I suspect it may be taken over, because if the market they supply is going to be bull for 5-10 years it makes sense for someone to "take them out". I'm hoping it doesn't happen but am realistic. If they are bought I cannot imagine it would be for less than £2 in todays market, but who knows what we may think in a years time...
