I can see 15p EPS being achieved but think a P.E. 80 is a touch too optimistic but maybe a P.E. of 40 given the growth prspects.

I would settle for 600p per share though since I bought at 19p. That would be a profit of £604K...and retirement before the age of 90....we can dream

15p (EPS) x (PER) 80 = 1200p

Price = EPS x PER

though of course the PER must reflect the % growth in EPS yoy

you are looking for growth in EPS and preferably organic growth (growth through the internal efforts of the business itself) in EPS (as opposed to growth in EPS acquired from the purchase of other companies)

Here is some noise. ARM was on a pe of 80 for years as it discounted the future. EPS of 15 in a couple of years if true would give share price of 12 quid. Probably ridiculously optimistic but potential for 2 or 3 quid does at least seem feasible in a couple of years time.
Does anyone have a feeling of how big this can grow?

I also predicted a lot of nonsense and 'noise' on here, from the pampers and dumpers who appear at these times. :-( and we are on AIM so can't become a FTSE 250 company !? ;-)

I am of for a long walk, a prolonged lunch to celebrate this IMS, weather looks great, don't have a smartphone ( never will) so won't know the share price till after close

The AUTOMATIC entry point for the FTSE250 is currently around £827m. As I write IQE has a market cap. of £638m so not so far away.

If it does make it into the FTSE 250 eventually, it would lead to tracker funds and institutional buying and also a potential expansion in the P.E. ratio.

One step at a time though.

This article on Skyworks corroborates IQE estimation of ramp up with regards iPhone timing, ramp late in 2017 and big ramp 2018. Skyworks report today as well btw...
