Aaargh iodine shortage! try and buy tincture of iodine, it seems most chemists are out of stock! Mmmm I don't know if that means anything but interesting nonetheless. Always hated when I cut my knee or grazed my elbow as a kid, my dad would always get the iodine out....ouch! J.

The share price here seems to have (just!) broken free of the downchannel, and risen above the 20SMA, after today's action. Might need a small consolidation over the next couple of days, before we see it continuing higher towards resistance at 75-80p short-term?

Beeezzz,They closed over 0.7% on Friday which is over half of the shares that shorted. That's nearly a million shares, so I wouldn't slowly! Considering the lack of price movement on Friday and today's RNS it's clear they struck a deal with OM, I wonder how much above the market value they paid?

Personally I just want the results and water news out of the way, so it's all on the table and we can move forward.

If water news points towards a hearing then obviously a wait to add on re that.

But at 50p and these recent low prices positive water news was never priced in. So a negative would just gift cheap iodine shares if that were to happen.

Shares do look to have tightened up and good old Mr Market will find a way to loosen then up for any orders that may or may not be there.

Just got back to ADVFN after spending a week in one of the most remote spots in Britain to find that I have missed all the fun last week and had around 700 posts to get through. Just my luck! At least we seem to be heading in the right direction at last.

I have been away for a week and I must say, we are looking a lot healthier and I am pleased with my recent top up's.
I will be pleased when the up and coming figures are out of the way, and receiving more information on the progress IO4, IO5 and when we are likely to have a pod in action. Water would be a bonus.

They have played a blinder, let's be fair. They even managed to exit with minimal disruption, helped by a fund or two selling.

Bocker,
It was such an opportunity I broke all my rules to buy more recently.

The price is all about sentiment, couldn't agree more, it has little reflection on the growth in the business, the confidence management have if you speak to them, it's at odds with the prospects of three more plants in the next two months.

It's also at odds with other stocks and the bullish stock market.
Some growth stocks valuations are coming home to roost such as ASC coming down from £70.

Here, we have a growth stock with years of headroom in front of it and a valuation at less than 10 on next year, it's plain crazy.

The quarter on quarter metrics of iodine production will soon get the market catching on.

Beer,
I held these last year, having sold STVG to buy, it's now up 4 fold and this is down so I'm hurting too.

However, I had mentally prepared myself to sell everything at a loss and buy more here if it fell into the 40's, so convinced I was by the bargain.

As it is, I bought a little too soon this year, I had no idea my fellow shareholders would sell down to below 50p.

I've no doubt these will rerate, the risk is very much to the upside in my book.

If Lance comes back, he knows how to extract value, others may disagree but he is worth 10p on the share price on that announcement and much more longer term.
