07/4/2014 08:55 | Results to come and not going to be fab reading for last year, and static v the prior year, going on a previous rns. Production Q1 not fab, but surely io4 and 5 up and running, but that will all be irrelevant if positive water news comes prior. The timing of that will be all down to how busy the bureau are. An interesting situation with shares looking tight now. | superg1
07/4/2014 08:44 | Don't know if Barclays have a bit of inside info but when I looked at my portfolio it had all my Iofina shares priced at 72p this morning! ;-) | woodpeckers
07/4/2014 08:44 | The OM news we all knew about, they wanted out before the new financial year at any price, hence the silly prices that IOF can still be bought at. I'd say we are 20p below a fair bottom price right now. | che7win

07/4/2014 08:24 | New tax year = ISA season kicks off today. At the moment you can buy shares to a value of £11,880 in a ISA but on 1st July 2014 this increases to £15,000. So hopefully a much more expensive £3,120 IOF top up then! hxxp://www.hl.co.uk/ | orslega

07/4/2014 07:05 | Ammons, i agree with some of the above, however if you dont order the parts for plants they will not arrive which has not helped the current bod. Like a said earlier re LB, we all expected 12 plants by the end of 2014, so what changed. This was one reason i was a little concerned about when the rns was released regarding GL/CEO, i thought he might tinker with the plants now he was at the head of the company. Mr Lantz (62) joins the Board with a demonstrable track record spanning over 30 years in industry. He was most recently a consultant to the Group division, Iofina Resources, Inc. During his time with Iofina Resources, Inc. Mr Lantz helped achieve a daily record iodine production. ==================== After thinking about when Lance resigned due to his illness, the 12 expected plants by end of 2014 and GL becoming ceo. I thought iofina has the prototype for future rollout so iof could do 12 as stated, i.e just buy them and build them from the prototype. What has happened is iofina resources or GL and the engineering team has been tinkering with the plants, things such as oil alerts in place/tower cleaning process, automation added, even removing parts etc etc. All these issues are changing the plants as we move along and i can now see why the board have put a halt on builds for now but that might change. Saying that, LB gave us 2 plants, since he left with more board members in place in 12 months, up to now they have managed one, very poor indeed. Like i said, i can understand to a degree but it really needs someone with drive and determination and we dont have that at the moment. | noli |
