29/1/2015 19:05 | Heartwell, i think it was several months into 2014 before we had a review of 2013, so nothing unusual about the absence of an update yet. | bogg1e
29/1/2015 18:40 | There are 3 with a total MC of £570 mill yet virtually no revenue now or in the foreseeable future. They have all been hit hard, But still £570 mill !!!! It's nuts they must surely get hit much more before they turn. It was obvious but I have no interest in shorting such stocks. I'm sure some have made and lost a load in QPP during the mad swings, I just watch from the pavement for experience. | ![]() superg1
29/1/2015 18:06 | Monts It's why I sit on hands there are a few too high with no revenue sure to get hit and you never know who has been affected and what portfolio they have. QFI dropping has been one of my main reasons to just sit and watch IOF, nowt to do with the IOF business, just margined folk. Very naughty by ITM there re 7 minutes before close. I haven't checked Nano lately but will now. I felt the IOF late sells may be forced, it's hard to tell. | ![]() superg1
29/1/2015 18:02 | Commenting on today's Trading Update, President and CEO Dr. Tom Becker, stated: "I am delighted that that we had a productive second half of 2014 and continue to optimize iodine production at our IOsorb(R) plants while providing the iodine chemical derivatives market with quality, innovative products through Iofina Chemical. Through improved plant efficiencies and strategic growth the Board expects 2015 to be an exceptional year for Iofina and looks forward to updating shareholders on progress." | stevo2011
29/1/2015 17:56 | superg1 I think the Nanoco fall has also caused forced margin sales as well as Afren. Talking of Afren, haven't seen Scrut around...hope he wasn't caught in the freefall. | ![]() monts12
29/1/2015 17:49 | Zero growth, delayed review, 6 plants producing little. 1000s of iodine samples = no new plants. reason will come out in time. Maybe after the next collapse | ![]() heartwell
29/1/2015 17:17 | I hope none of you bought ITM, feeling a bit stupid and financially damaged :(( | ![]() joeblogg2
29/1/2015 17:13 | Yes cyber Can you imagine a junior trying to encourage a position for a fund. Boss boss there is this investment. Who? Iofina natural gas Gas, did you say? yes but other resources too? Did you say resource sector? Yes, but what they do is, well you know oil wells and the brine that comes up? Did you just say OIL. ??? NEXT !!! | ![]() superg1
29/1/2015 16:41 | I know what you mean kattagaru, it's frustrating... you just have to use rationality and calm analysis and stick to those... | ![]() cyberbub
29/1/2015 16:29 | Fancy a pint? You're a big rugby lad? LOL | arlington chetwynd talbot
29/1/2015 15:29 | It wasn't meant as an invite but got it. I suggest you now edit it. It's not games being played but at this price if any event happens then due to the way they are mentioned in the media they are hard to find. Most often I find things accidentally while looking for something else. | ![]() superg1
29/1/2015 15:17 | Sand I've already spotted some names that I know. I'll be interested to find out what they think of the service and what it costs them, then it gives a ball park figure. First impression of the way it's being pushed is P and D. | ![]() superg1
29/1/2015 15:03 | I know from your bitter tone, you still watch. Fancy a pint down by the canal bud? | arlington chetwynd talbot
29/1/2015 15:03 | Are they just adding their names into a stock that is difficult to value, which creates a herd rush and hype to get a price hike and exit for them. It all depends how many they have, must have a look. | ![]() superg1
29/1/2015 15:02 | super. please e-mail me on xxxx any info as greatly appreciated!! | ![]() joeblogg2

29/1/2015 14:52 | Just for the record if a Chile event does happen, RB closing, Algorta lose etc and other such factors meaning iodine production is offline, I'll send it out via text and email. I have no intent of pre-warning trolls. Someone else may spot things and post them. Most potential positive events are listed, but not all, so happy hunting. | ![]() superg1
29/1/2015 14:48 | Super, Agree totally re the BB. It's the calibre of the investors and the management history that intrigues me. Mark Slater has bought a healthy slice and it doesn't meet his usual criteria for ZULUs. What does he and others know? | ![]() sandbag
29/1/2015 14:40 | Another loan at 20p? Dangerous times for Iofina. All those samples and not even a single mobile plant in 6 months ? | ![]() heartwell
29/1/2015 14:13 | Yeah you pat him on the back Graham, but you ridicule moi? LOL You about Banksy? Or busy organising (yet) another loan? ;))) | arlington chetwynd talbot
29/1/2015 14:10 | Trader and investor. I did cover both parts above I hope. From the trading part perspective you are right. | ![]() odvod
29/1/2015 14:07 | 1000s of iodine samples. Review 6 months late. No new plants for 2015 scheduled, what do the samples say? And 6 failing plants in the wrong locations. Dangerous? | ![]() heartwell
29/1/2015 14:06 | Meb Od is a trader, and will post from trader point of view to match a position. He is open about it and nothing wrong with that. It's a trend line, if it bounces off it then some traders may buy, if it breaks through they hold off. They would expect 40 to 42p as the upper line if it bounces and would probably take a 10 to 15% profit before the line is hit. Then wait for the next dip to 36/37. If it follows the route the wedge is forming. If it goes below the line with any noise then a lot of people are sitting on cash in the market, with eyes in certain directions, for the reasons Od points out. Market being bashed all over the place and forced sells on one share I track. There must be a big ripple in the AIM from Afren. It's bound to have spooked GKP investors too. | ![]() superg1 |
