every middle seat empty would not be enough

every second and third row would need to be empty aswell

otherwise the virus could easily be transmitted from someone seated in either of the two rows behind you

it's just not going to happen

can't fly planes with 78% of the seats empty

Carter633 and the many like you 'oh it has gone down a lot so must be good value', what if there has been a fundamental negative change? Carbon-farting virus taxis no longer a desirable business in previous scale?

IAG net assets were £7 bn at 31 December 2019, £6 bn at 31 March 2020. What do you think net assets at 31 March 2021 will be?

When you have written the number down on a piece of paper, including the minus sign, reflect for a few moments then salvage 57% of your investment [=178p/312p] and SELL SELL SELL. Do something useful with that 57% and once a month look at the sliding IAG price toward 5p by July 2021 and be thankful.

UK gov said yesterday, social distancing to be enforced for a year at least

although can't see how that can be enforced on public transport

so i guess they will have to concede to making everyone wear masks on planes and in airports


then there is the other issue of 2 weeks quarantine when entering the UK

and maybe 2 weeks quarantine when landing in another country


so a 2 week holiday would take 6 weeks

not many people going abroad on holiday this year, if that is the case

I don’t see any difference between cruise ships and planes, cruise ships far more infectious, thousands more people on board, do they all stay in their cabins once on board and meals passed through a hatch. Seems to be optimism about the cruise market, abject pessimism over airlines.

At 135p market cap 2.7 billion, about right for a company who don't know what's happening. I can't see a dividend for at least 3 years.Trouble with unions I think has well.

There is no way the PM actions will cost him the Tory leadership, after delivering the greatest defeat upon Labour since 1935. No one in the Tory party would want to replace him until he decides to stand down and when he does, the Chancellor of the Exchequer will be my No1 choice to succeed him.
