Watford, I guess someone set the cat amongst the pigeons. My guess is IAG will sue for compensation if virgin bailed out. He has his foot on their throat and a knife ready to cut. He will cut crew, staff, all discretionary to achieve. By the end of this, he will be able to take on contracts below cost. Seen the state Boeing is in at the moment? I’m glad he stayed on. Utterly ruthless and wants his dues in terms of share price prior to retirement date. He is going to gut the weak.

ASk yourself this question?where is all the money coming from? At the end of the day if there is no economic activity the cake that needs to be shared around is getting smaller.austerity round the corner i am afraid.the world will be a lot poorer due to this virus and the longer we take to deal with it the poorer we shall get.

I listened to his briefing and he said he would fully support US airlines because it was not their fault.

Hopefully more detailed information to come from UK GOV regarding airlines and airports.
Non committal at the moment with Chancellor saying 'potential support package for airports and airlines'.

I didn't hear a Trump give details. I just heard that they would make sure they will survive and prosper.If that is case that is similar to UK at this moment

Chancellors points from PM's briefing

1. We will do whatever it takes
2. GOV will stand behind business. GOV Backed guaranteed loans 330B
3. If not enough will provide as much as required
4. Two schemes . Larger firms use commercial paper via BoE, smaller business loans up to 5m
5. New legal power to offer whatever financial support is necessary
6. Potential support package for airlines and airports
7. Identify other specific areas that need support
8. businesses that have pandemic insurance policy GOV will provide assurance for claims.
9. Business rate holiday , shop theatre leisure sector receive 12 month holiday.
10. Support for individuals. coronavirus casualties will get 3 month mortgage holiday.
11. Work with business groups to develop ways to protect peoples income.
12. These are the first steps....more to come in next few days.

No, its cash smithy. Why would you look lines of credit. When you value assets an individuals, you don't look at what their credit limit is, only what their most liquid assets are.
