Dow opened and hit 7% drop and froze for 15mins straight away, another option at 13-14% I think, then if it hits 20% drop the Dow closes for the day.

If I remember correctly the UK Gov made no killing out Lloyd’s and RBS and certainly not the now defunct Northern Rock...

Owned by the Spanish, will they bail them out, doubt it, they will probably nationalise.

Market cap just over 5 billion, still expensive in my opinion.

I guess ultimately, as the national flag carrier, this will end up being nationalised at some point. Shareholders will be wiped-out and, in a Northern Rock style act of theft, the government will pick it up in the cheap and float it back into private hands in 24 months’ time - making an absolute killing in the process.

I can see it coming. All the ingredients are there.

Salty.

Well to be fair, sometimes these boards whip up a frenzy of investing. One way bet, etc.

Yep Watford. Hope in the long term you get it back, I will spread my investments across various companies in various sectors at some point but, for me, I cannot see any light at the end of the tunnel. Maybe a recession and then a big pump of gov monies will happen and complete the cycle? But who knows, I have learnt to never be over committed to one share or sector to my own pain in the past.

Over 2months parked will start to see long term damage. Would I fly in a plane that has been parked for over 2months. No way.

It’s not like flight of the Phoenix lol.

Swapped SUK2 for XUKS. Massive profit. Overall portfolio value preserved and then some. IAG added among many others. 40pc committed and hedged nicely against further trouble this week. Cash value preserved. Buying happily across the FTSE100 with the silent majority.

Should have news on the Data fine, was it 132 million pounds, I know BA was appealing the amount. Seems ages ago.

Andy, rumour on the street is that China are reversing furloughs and demand is picking up in HKG and China quite rapidly within the past 48 hours. You could do some research with flight radar 24 silver membership, 7 quid a year subscription. Has full histories of all commercial flights including cancellations.

I wonder if Willie Walsh and his IAG board cronies will take big haircuts to their fat cat wages given the serious issues the industry faces? Suspect if Gov’s around the world bail the industry out there will be conditions... just my opinion!
