So if we are still in the EU, no flights allowed into the UK from outside the EU?

Or if we are outside the EU, no flights allowed into the EU from the UK and rest of world?

Dround, we will need to see a week of data minimum I reckon. One data point could be just noise. I’m keeping a close eye on Italy’s stats, that seems to be the reference curve e in the European market refers to. I still reckon this is going to go through the USA like Sh1t though a goose. Obesity, type 2 diabetes, no sick pay, no health service and central health response and coordination means I reckon their most rate is going to be one of the worst globally.

171 new cases in the UK. Similar to Spain we are diverging from the exponential curve. Maybe all this social distancing is working...

Smithy....can't disagree with that.
They should be held accountable for this mess.

There are two main strains at the moment. Both are identical enough that exposure and recovery from one is sufficient to provide immunity to the other.

Once you had a virus usually part of the recovery process is to develop antibodies, so usually you shouldn't catch the same strain again. But if a different strain comes along then you probably not immune.

Monty, if IAG was at risk of bankruptcy, why isn’t WW begging for a bailout? They will seep the floor when recovery happens. Cathay and Cathay dragon are now recalling pilots furloughed for 2 months as demand is back on the way up

Looks like Coronavirus cannot re infect (for short periods after infection recovery). Test on Rheus monkeys in China has shown

Monty...what are you trying to achieve by posting constant negative messages this morning ?

Don't you think people have enough to worry about at the moment .
Unless I am mistaken, you don't hold any IAG shares anyway ...do you ?

Oh, and you think it is going to be nationalised, so what point is there in posting about a company that you will not be able to invest in......according to you.

I’m sure they will give out low or zero interest loans to the companies that have clear future survival like IAG group. Smaller companies could go to the wall if continued business not viable. I think there’s very very low chance IAG will be nationalised. WW the banks are working to give the liquidity they need to continue reduced operations. Of course time can be another killer but let’s hope by early May we can see the peak is over
