03/8/2018 07:34 | Monty, how do you think the market will react? | nedhammers1
03/8/2018 07:30 | Ebitdar is what I look at is up, cash on deposit up, debt down, with cash now of 8,1 billion euros, buybacks will continue for quite some time, I would imagine.I suppose it's how analyst look at figures. | montyhedge
03/8/2018 07:27 | Neil what did you think of the results? I read somewhere it's 2.9% shirt of market expectations? More importantly what will these results do to the SP? | nedhammers1
03/8/2018 07:15 | 17.4% increase in operating profit for a company where the P/E is less than 7. Speaks volumes. | neilrich
03/8/2018 06:15 | He not be! | nedhammers1
03/8/2018 05:26 | Will he or Willie or won't be is the question today. I hope he does, come on Willie boy blast the industry and markets out the water today ......Monty wants to make another shed load :-) | nedhammers1
02/8/2018 17:55 | Every little helps. | chiefbrody
02/8/2018 17:48 | Today's buyback £5 million (over 700k shares) | neilrich
02/8/2018 17:25 | Every few days another strike.RYN share price down about 10% in the last month or so. | chiefbrody
02/8/2018 17:08 | Most of all, for the market to show a little faith in IAG.Stupidly low P/E. Pricing in 100 dollar + oil and further jihadi nut-job plane attacks. | chiefbrody
02/8/2018 17:07 | Yup. Op profits just over a billion.All 4airlines profitable. | chiefbrody
02/8/2018 16:54 | I'm hoping for €12 billion revenue for the first six months. Operating profit before exceptional items €1.1 billion. | neilrich
02/8/2018 16:36 | More importantly what is the call for the figures tomorrow? Any guesses? I go for operating profit, 985m Euros for six months. | montyhedge
02/8/2018 16:35 | Like I said hard too say, perhaps someone will ask how much to buyback, in the analyst conference call. | montyhedge
02/8/2018 16:31 | Yesterday they purchased 280k shares (140k shares in London and 140k shares in Madrid), it was below average, I'm working on an average 500k shares a trading day, some days it is in excess of 700k shares. | neilrich
02/8/2018 16:25 | Well yesterday they bought back 140,000 shares thats not a lot of shares. So its hard to say, I reckon buybacks until next quarter figures in October. I do like they way they do it, in very small amounts if you look at their trades for that 140,000. But like I say tomorrow big day, nothing moves a share price up or down like figures. | montyhedge
02/8/2018 16:05 | I've checked my figures thanks, please state which working days they've not completed a buyback? I'd suggest that you check the RNS. You are suggesting that they've only completed 10 working days worth of buybacks with £400 million to go. Simple maths on my spreadsheet, I maintain that the buyback shall be complete late September. | neilrich
02/8/2018 15:53 | They have not been buying back 4 million a day, or every day, working days 20 days a month plus bank holidays where markets are not open, and they not buying every day, so check your figures again. Tomorrow will reveal all, up big time or down big time. Exciting isn't it. | montyhedge
02/8/2018 15:46 | Monty, The buyback commenced 9 May 2018, €500 million(£445 million). By your reckoning we've bought back just £45 million in nearly 3 months?! They've been averaging something around £4 million a day in buyback. Check your facts before posting complete nonsense! I'm all for ramping this share, although please do it with fact instead of lies. | neilrich
02/8/2018 15:35 | Rubbish, no where near halfway, they will continue until 3rd quarter update at least. If good tomorrow, probably extend pass October after update. Tomorrow the big day. | montyhedge
02/8/2018 15:06 | Beback to April 18 levels by the end of the year then :-) | chiefbrody |
