We all know a bit. Most of these semi unexplainable moves (up and down) these days are just noise and, a way for short termers with big pockets, to make money, imo.Wouldn't surprise me if its all just collusion between the big brokers to make $$$$$What else can justify multi billion dollar companies losing/gaining billions of $$$$$ in value in the same day!

3% rise....I guess with only five trading days to go, what's the betting that those in the city know something?

Ryanair fury from customers, is music to Walsh's ears.CAA should ground all their planes if compensation of 222 pounds to 100,000 customers not paid, that would make them pay up. O'Leary trying to wriggle out of paying.

I played golf with a pilot, he said pilots get paid for take off and landing, the rest is computers. AI will take over and on long haul flights you will only need one pilot. Saves the industry 15 billion.

400 Million to go? Can't be that much, we're averaging about £4million in buybacks a day, my best guesstimate is approximately 20 weeks from when the buyback commenced on the 9th May.

Therefore the buyback should finish around the 26 Sept...I'd say that we're about halfway.

Seen the other one Ryanair refuses to give 100,000 passengers compensation of 222 pounds each. O'Leary got to be careful upsetting staff and customers, IAG will benefit.

4 million squid a time of late Monty. Was closer to 2 million previously though so it may well average out at 2. something.

Working out the buyback program, they buy roughly £2.5m a time, they said they will spend £500m on buybacks, so quite a bit to buy back. Figures as we know Friday week, back over 710p.
