28/4/2005 15:43 | At least we are seeing a bit more volume these days. | kmacgre
28/4/2005 13:34 | bid down again...it might a simple fact that we have a seller and until they have done, only then will the price recover. Maybe they were hoping to sell into the strength of the trading statement buy there were not enough buyers around. | jailbird
28/4/2005 12:58 | kmacgre, your point about the board is a good one. in fact when you look through all the biogs they are rather more heavyweight than you might expect for a single figure mkt cap co... | rambutan2
28/4/2005 12:46 | hi jailbird after my chat with the fd i looked back over the last month's trades and realised that yes there was a few larger sales (ie 10-30k) and few buys. i think that the mms just dropped the price to get rid of them as i know that they dont like holding more than a v few thousand. and the rise today would seem to verify that theory - touch wood! | rambutan2
27/4/2005 22:39 | well done ramb, almost hit the buy button today too...but markets have been poor lately and made a few losses. So will stay out until see some positive sentiment. I feel there is enough cash, now they have promised breakeven...I think this maybe just been dropping with all other small caps. | jailbird
27/4/2005 19:18 | i topped up with 10k at 16p at the close. even accounting for any fund raisings that could occur it seems a good price to me. | rambutan2
27/4/2005 16:50 | Thanks Ramb2 for your time and for phoning. Hopefully they will be left with some £600K approx, and just on the breakeven profit line at year end. A lot may depend on the order pipeline and this US federal business. I would really like to see them make a profit before raising more cash. One of the directors who bought more recently at 18p has an interesting profile as shown on their website. If anyone should know how to raise money - he should. Regards, Keith. | kmacgre
27/4/2005 15:50 | just had a quick chat with the finance director. he says that as a big shareholder he was as disappointed as me/us at lack of response to that v good trading statement. and in partic the fall back since. needless to say i couldnt get any clues out of him as to whether some sort of fund raising to come, but erred on not. finals due out same time as last year. ho hummm. | rambutan2
27/4/2005 13:14 | couldnt agree more yump. my port is full of micro caps and full red at the mo. but having followed this for a few years something is telling me that there might be something else behind this drop. just a hunch and would be v pleased if wrong. there's a show in london at the mo... 26/4/2005 20:56 | £6000 worth of shares whether a buy or a sell is surely not a cause for alarm. At the moment, what is rising ? Very little. If you get spooked by these drops, best not to be in small companies because at the moment I would be selling 50% of my portfolio thinking that there is 'some sort of problem' with each one - which clearly there won't be. | yump
26/4/2005 20:52 | someone needs to ring them. | rambutan2
26/4/2005 11:55 | Another 30k dump today....hmmmm...no delay time today though | jailbird
26/4/2005 09:33 | Still very surprised by the drop | garth
26/4/2005 09:00 | late 30k showed yesterday..is what dropped the price...unless we get buyers/volume the price will drop. | jailbird
21/4/2005 14:07 | the good thing about this company. is its in its best position ever , but the share price is not far of the bottom. great value i,ll be looking for more topups when get more funds available. to add to the 8k i,ve already put in this one already | igoe104
21/4/2005 14:00 | yes i have been following these for a while and have a small holding but bought another 20k this am | hybrasil
21/4/2005 12:12 | Drops for no apparent reason seem to have been happening quite a bit with small stocks. Its just hit a bad market spell that's all imo - Dow dropping, CGT sales, election etc. etc. Looked like it was going up after RNS, so maybe a few selling on it moving the wrong way, but its not a trading or short term play, so if you bought at 20p because you believed in the company, can't see the point of getting spooked by a price fall like this in a share with not much liquidity. If the main markets and AIM were in a big bull run, then I'd be worried that there was a reason behind the fall. | yump
21/4/2005 10:38 | it natural to get a negative stance when a share slips. but at the end of the day you have to look at the lastest rns,s and the ceo comments to realise your onto a winner. i,ve seen it all before. ps if you want to look at something intresting go to the rab board there a big slagging match going on. evil knievil and dunnie. (who is about the best posters around) to big fish battleing away lol | igoe104
21/4/2005 09:59 | Whatever happens this is buying opp... | jailbird
21/4/2005 09:53 | It is possible that for IGP to get shortlisted for the US ID card coming up shortly, that they may need a stronger balance sheet. Only a thought. | kmacgre
21/4/2005 09:49 | it happens alot with aim companies after news. the price gets walked down with mms pushing stop losers though. i,ve had it lots of times. gfm and data cash are just a couple. i,ll just keep buying at these levels | igoe104
21/4/2005 09:46 | Suspicious, yes, considering there were some dent buys a fed days ago but the price still dropped. If there is any placing, I expect any annoucements will coincide with contract news mentioned in the trading statement. | jailbird |
