30/7/2014 08:36 | Hi Andy, Nice to have your balanced views. When you say "clear their deficit" do you mean "payables", since they have no other debts (loans). Payables (debts) were circa £450k at H1 (off the top of my head figure). I don't think they need to raise money to pay off this debt in one swoop, it should be manageable, albeit a small fund raising may be needed over the very short term until sales monies flow in. They do need to increase revenues to, at first break even, and then make profits to pay off these debts. Revenues are clearly on the up and the best they have been for years !! Total known revenues from H1 (104k), AFM (£130k), EFM (£50k) and Cannes (£160k) sales over the last 12 months were around £450k. Not enough to break even, but when you consider that these sales were mainly off the back of 2 to 3 main films (notably Believe, Gagarin and Vendetta), then the future potential on the current slate (completed films and those in production) clearly shows that the revenues could ramp up very quickly from November 2014 onwards. Indeed, it could be strongly argued that they will hit profit in this current financial year, which started on 31 June, on the back of films sales alone. There will also, hopefully, be film finance comissions and Bold Ink services revenues to add to film sales reveneus in 2014 and moreso in this current financial year. In summary, a small fund raising cannot be ruled out over the short term, but at market cap. of £1 million, the current share price may provide a very interesting entry point, to accumulate a good volume of shares, based on the known film slate for year 2014-2015, and prior to the herd. | pennysharemillionaire2
30/7/2014 07:49 | No, I watch because I was offered the .5 placing some time ago, and they pushed me real hard, but I resisted for two reasons. 1 I do not know anything about the film industry. 2 They pushed too hard, they oversold it, kept ringing me up, and I always resist that type of selling. In my experience that has always been the right thing to do, good deals sell themselves! Once the next placing is done, the air will be clearer, but they have to start to show real progress financially first. yesterday's news was certainly a step in the right direction, but they need to clear their defecit, and I feel they will try and raise to do that, although that will be a big ask IMHO. | andy
30/7/2014 07:33 | Yes Andy not exactly going to set the share price on fire but but buys none the less and enough for MM's to edge the bid up a tad. We will need to see a lot more than that I grant you. Do you hold ? | yorgi
30/7/2014 07:29 | yorgi, Yes two trades so far £64, and £976, both buys. | andy
30/7/2014 07:05 | Buyers starting the day I'm pleased to see. Those that looked deeper at the RNS are taking the opportunity at this low price. | yorgi

29/7/2014 12:55 | Agreed PSM......and don't forget looking further ahead the prospects for the documentary "America" : "In addition, the Company has commenced international sales (all territories except the USA) for "America" which is expected to become the 6(th) largest documentary of all time and has become the biggest documentary in 2014 after only 4 weeks. America has taken over US$13 million at the US Box Office so far." That could be very lucrative for us I would have thought. | yorgi
29/7/2014 12:53 | I see the good news today has brought all the de-rampers out in force. What a set of w@nkers they are or should I say he is, coz all the same person! | topinfo
29/7/2014 12:50 | Yorgi, Frustrating as usual but good progress again. Based on the current film status, they will surely hit profit in this current financial year. Cannes film sales were very good considering the completed films on sale (Top Dog, Believe, Gagarin). | pennysharemillionaire2
29/7/2014 12:39 | PSM With the news we have had this morning we can clearly see that RM is making progress with turning our company around and should he need to do a placing in the coming weeks he will now be in a lot stronger position than he was before this news. Up until this morning I had been most most concerned about the lack of news on progress but this mornings news was good and I'm quite sure the markets reaction to is has been wrong but only time will tell. | yorgi
29/7/2014 12:05 | In the months before last years big raise the stock tanked from 1.5p to 0.5p so expect a tanking this time from 0.3p to 0.1p ? | the stigologist
29/7/2014 12:04 | so if you go quiet on here PSM we will know they are raising a big wad again... | the stigologist
29/7/2014 12:03 | yes in May when they raised a pittance... " The Company continues to operate at a net liabilities and a net current liabilities position, and with limited working capital for the foreseeable future. The Company is dependent on making commercial progress in the very near term or will require further new financing." | the stigologist
29/7/2014 11:55 | See recent fund raising amounts. They certainly do not need to raise £1 million, unless of course they wanted to buy a new library or business ; which is not on the cards as RM has just procured some highly experienced film finance and sales guys on a commission basis - very astute move given the current climate !! I participated in the last big fund raising in June last year. | pennysharemillionaire2
29/7/2014 11:55 | the last major placing i can see was for almost £1m which was last year and the balance sheet is still atrocious | the stigologist
29/7/2014 11:52 | hmm i don't think so 1. The placing broker will want to earn commission so no way will they allow IFM to get away with only raising £100-200k 2. At last results IFM was technically insolvent to the tune of c.£300k 3. They made a loss to half year stage of £300k So more likely they need to raise £600k-£1m to keep going | the stigologist
29/7/2014 10:37 | VERY very cynical from the Management they know they will have to do a massive discounted dilutive placing they trot out some 'positive news' to get the PIs salivating and cover themselves by including 'financial position is difficult' in the 'small print' 0.20 looks optimistic 0.10 or 0.15p I reckon | the stigologist
29/7/2014 10:32 | Placing coming IMHO. .20 is my guess. | andy
29/7/2014 10:14 | Volume very small and no large buys but it does appear to be mainly buys and buyers steadily having to pay more so we may well mover back up and even into the blue. That's what we want PSM a flow of good news over the coming weeks. | yorgi
29/7/2014 09:47 | Agreed PSM the market has ignored the potential looking forwards now. I have just added a good clip from Youtube on Believe to the header. | yorgi
29/7/2014 09:41 | I am pretty confident that the city will cotton on to the potential here. I think there could be a flow of more good news over coming weeks. | pennysharemillionaire2 |
