04/6/2014 13:39 | Penny, Intandem said that AFM revenue from November ( H1 period end 31 Dec) would fall into H2, which now makes me wonder if Cannes revenue will fall into H1 2014/2015 because the Cannes film festival is so close to period end. Even closer to period end than AFM was to H1. | sonny burnett
04/6/2014 13:16 | We wait patiently as usual. If the co. can announce break even or better for H2 then we will get a significant re-rating. Only positive financials will get the share price moving now. Unless of course we get confirmation of some big budget films going into production (Starbright, Evil nature...)to boost the potentially good revenues that will come from Second Origin (actually in post-production). | pennysharemillionaire2
04/6/2014 10:33 | Yesterday's drop clearly shows how illiquid the stock is. Transactions worth £1400 caused an almost 9% drop in price. It works both ways, but it's still very frustrating. | sonny burnett
31/5/2014 21:43 | Yes and now in active development, being cast. Financial data was updated 3 months ago. Partly funded by They also funded Second Origin. | pennysharemillionaire2
31/5/2014 21:18 | Penny, Yes, it's a film Intandem added to the slate back in 2009. | sonny burnett
31/5/2014 20:31 | Sonny, did you notice this one : Looks to be close to production. | pennysharemillionaire2
31/5/2014 19:49 | Sonny, I noticed that too. RM said in his H1 results statement that he will now approach his contacts / demanding film makers, lets hope there are a few nice surprises in the pipeline. | pennysharemillionaire2
31/5/2014 19:08 | Penny, Good to know, it makes Phoenix a lot more interesting. It looks like the executive producer on Entertainment is also working on Any Which Way They Come and Phoenix. It's a small world... ;) | sonny burnett

31/5/2014 17:33 | Penny, I hope that's (delay in payment from distributors) the reason for the placing. I'm well aware of the burn rate as mentioned in the Peterhouse note. My conservative sales commission estimate for Second Origin is £300k. BTW Where did you get the $12m budget figure on Phoenix from? IMDB has it listed as a $3m budget movie. | sonny burnett
31/5/2014 15:51 | Sonny, My own opinion, is that Intandem needed the cash to tire them over the very short term until they receive sales money from Believe, Gagarin etc,. They are now at a point where they have enough "completed" films to create a slow stream of money throughout the year (allowing for delays in payment by distributors) up to now they have not had this luxury (not enough completed films). They also now have bold ink to add to this monthly revenue flow. Burn rate is around £60k per month. Next financial year earnings will be boasted by financing commissions, which Intandem receive on the first day of shoot. Intandem won't sell SO until it is completed. I now think that sales commission from this one film will be £500k+ and that is a conservative estimate. | pennysharemillionaire2
31/5/2014 15:12 | Penny, I wasn't talking about what revenue will fall into what finanacial calendar period, i was talking about current financial position and burn rate in order to prevent another placing. Which is why i mentioned Second Origin, although it probably won't be ready in two months time. Financial calendar news is old by the time we get it. Especially full year numbers which are released six months after period end. During those six months we need a lot of cash. I agree with your Cannes summary, but ask yourself how is it possible that they were selling: Top Dog, Scopia, The Greatest Englishman, Missing William and America, and still needed a placing? It makes no sense that after five days of selling those films we were presented with a share issue which basically stated that they had no cash to pay for their Cannes trip. The sales commission of those 5 films should have prevented that placing. It just doesn't add up. | sonny burnett
31/5/2014 08:43 | The British Film Institute rank "Get Carter" by Mike hodges as the 16th most popular british film ever. hxxp://www.cinemarea | pennysharemillionaire2
30/5/2014 17:45 | What we need is break even or better in H2 (end June 2014). If this happens then we will get a significant rise with accompanying positive outlook (in particular, second origin sales and phoenix in next financial year 2014/2015...). "Believe" has sold v well ahead of world cup but how much revenue ? | pennysharemillionaire2
30/5/2014 16:40 | Post Cannes announcement hopefully! z | zeppo
