For this financial year (31 June to 31 June) :

- Second Origin (in post production), should bring in very good revenues, the best that Intandem have seen for a very long time.
- Reign of the General - completed and december 2014 release.
- Scopia - completed. First premiere at US festival in September 2014.
- The Greatest Englishman - completed (including sales right in UK).
- America movie - completed. Very good performance in US so far.
- Missing William - completed
- Anti social - completed
- Any which way they come - filming.

Bold Ink should provide a 'significant' contribution to revenues.

Other films that should start shooting soon :
- Starbright,
- Megans Game.

The last post shows my frustration here. Although I remain confident that RM and team are working hard.

We needed to make £200k between mid-feb and end of June 2014 to roughly break even, where can the money come from :

Completed film sales :
- Believe global (sold to UK, US and canada and probably many more territories),
- Gagarin,
- America movie,
- Top Dog,
- The Greatest Englishman,
- Missing William.

Other services :
- Bold Ink services,
- Fund raising comissions (Catweazle, Red Mansions...)

To be taken seriously Intandem have to at worst, break even in H2 of last financial year which ended on 31 June 2014

I agree with both.....good posts.

I only hope that at the coal face things are much better than what the share price suggests.

Same pattern as before, imo a large holder is willing(with or without Intandem's knowledge) to sell chunks at an all time low in order to bring the price down followed by a placing a couple of weeks later at which point that large holder buys back the shares he sold at around the same price and picks up more shares at an all time low to average down.
There are imo only two reasons for the lack of news coming from the company.

1. My above theory

2. There is no good news to report, which would be even more alarming.

Both are bad news.

SP continues to trickle lower on low volume sales and lack of news.

Co. now valued at £1 million !!!

Webb Capital Investment fact sheet for July 2014 sums it up :

"Poor market liquidity in the last month at the smaller end of the market has been an ongoing issue. The share prices of Intandem Films (-16.7%), Distil (-4.3%) and Galasys (-14.6%), were adversely affected by relatively small sales volumes.

As pointed out earlier, the quiet trading environment has led to an increase in share price volatility throughout the sector. As the IPO wave has abated, many established businesses are coming to market or raising money through secondary fund raising exercises that in some cases appear very good value.

The Fund holds a significant number of special situation investments that with a bit of time, additional capital and encouragement could deliver excellent investment returns. In addition, a balance of undervalued growth companies compliments our eclectic mix of value, growth and income. We foresee a quiet summer on the news front and in performance terms but remain confident that performance is on an improving trend."

It looks like Deadline is correct this time.
Epic Pictures tweeted about the deal 3/4 hours ago.

Penny,

I agree, Gary Smith is to blame for the financial problems, I wasn't blaming Robert for that, but that has nothing to do with the fact that having four big budget films downgraded is a serious issue.
I'm not going to close my eyes on things like that and pretend it didn't happen,
or even think it's just a minor setback.
Those films could mean the difference between 1p and a 5p share price.

You cannot deny that communication to the market has been poor.
A simple RNS on Entertainment or Edie involvement or even an RNS to let the market know that Any Which Way They Come has started filming would all be things that could support the share price.
There are no excuses for that given the drop in share price.
We have had previous discussions where we both agreed that it would be great if we got a production update on the film slate.
The lack of news towards the market continues to put pressure on the share price.

Intandem are not repping Entertainment according to Deadline :

hxxp://m.deadline.com/2014/07/gregg-turkington-neil-hamburger-the-comedy-john-c-reilly-michael-cera-entertainment/

But then Deadline is not very reliable for detail, as we know from previous articles concerning "10 things".

I am happy with progress over last 12 months. I don't think they could have turned it around more quickly and needed to raise cash to survive and grow film slate (+ pay off debt). Lets face it our previous CEO did nothing for years and is to blame for the poor performance up to now.

The small budget completed films are bringing in small but essential revenues.

Yes we need the big budget films - Second Origin could bring in significant revenues - commissions are likely to be 15%. Phoenix is fully funded and will shoot in september. I think there could be at least 2 more in this current financial year (Starbright and Megans Game). Evil Nature will definitely happen. The director of Edie is currently performing a site recki according to his blog.

Believe should have brought in good revenues, i will be watching it on French TV on monday.

Everybody on this board knows the company has made substantial progress, but the number of outstanding shares has also more than tripled.

The point that Yorgi made is correct, the lack of official news from the company on progress has been disappointing and the share price reflects that. No update from the company since the Cannes placing.

That is why I said the company should put out an RNS on Entertainment to confirm our involvement.
It costs £75 to issue an RNS so there is no excuse.

A film that goes back from pre-production to in development is not the same as a simple production delay. In most cases there are underlying issues such problems with cast, script or even budget.
The fact that four big budget films have been downgraded back to the development stage is a serious issue.

We need the big budget ones such as Second Origin, Starbright, Phoenix, The Laureate, Famous, Evil Nature and Reagan to go into production.
The low budget films are the problem here and the reason why we continue to require funding.
Sales commission from America and Second Origin should be able to turn that around.

Clearly, the company is gaining momentum and their hard work is starting to shine through.

Known shooting dates :Phoenix (September 2014).

Filming : Any which way they come and Entertainment.

Post production : Reign of the General and Second Origin.

Completed and selling now : America, Scopia, The Greatest Englishman and Top Dog.

I think "Believe" sales will surprise.

I am not expecting every film to go into production straight away and not at all suprised that there are sometimes delays (The Laureate, Famous, Evil nature).

I am very encouraged by the current increase of films in-production and the support services that our experienced management team are providing to independent film makers (ex. Scopia).

Only a matter of time.

One positive piece of news:

Entertainment has started filming

Status update: 9 July 2014

No official confirmation from Intandem that we are involved but they are listed as Entertainment's sales company on slated.com.

So that's four big budget films that have gone from pre-production to in development.
I really hope Robert has some good news for us because this is very depressing.
An RNS on Entertainment would be a good start.

Good comment Sonny but not encouraging for the short medium term sadly. Not exactly large volume but some feel even a few hundred pound back out is better than leaving it in it seems. I hope they are mistaken but not convinced they are.

Yorgi,

I agree.
While the Scopia news is good news, (the expected territory sales mentioned in the article) it will take some time before the sales commission comes in. The same goes for America and Missing William.

The lack of news could also be because certain people want to load up on the cheap through one last placing. Looking at how America is being received in the US, I think Intandem stands to make some great territory sales (a la Michael Moore docs) but i doubt that the sales commission will get here in time.
I think the company is running out of cash.

I'm afraid the lack of official news from our BOD giving any indication of progress has been very disappointing and hence the share price has responded accordingly.

Scopia news:

Christopher Butler's Sci-Fi Mind Bender SCOPIA To Feature at North American Film Festival

After 3 and a half years in production writer/director, Christopher Butler's sci-fi, horror mind bender Scopia will start its festival run in North America. Just as the plot has been a tightly guarded secret so too will the name of the launch film festival, which will be announced in mid-August. This comes hot on the heels of producers signing with London based Manifest Film Sales (part of heavy-weight Intandem Media Group) to represent the film to buyers worldwide.

Scopia which recently enjoyed its first trade appearance at the London Screenings showcase for the international distribution community has already had leaked reviews defining the film as "a style reminiscent of Kubrick, Lynch or Herzog, the movie has no clear boundaries of reality, and the complexity of the protagonist Basia keeps the audience hooked". The question of what happens when reincarnation goes wrong is asked, and only partially answered through spine chilling performances and stunning cinematography.

It is expected that a number of territory deals will close in the coming weeks as strong word of mouth and expectations rise prior to the festival premiere of the film.

Scopia is produced by UK based production companies, Big Eye Ltd and Flynn Entertainment.

BELIEVE sold to US but for how much :

With the popularity of soccer at a major high in US following the performance of their national side, the film should do extremely well over there.

AMERICA :

"Preliminary box-office counts indicate "America" is overall No. 3 in per screen average attendance in the United States and No. 10 in overall box-office receipts, a position considered strong in that "America" is opening on only 1,000 screens nationwide, in competition with films opening on more than 3,000 screens."

Who knows, although whilst a negative update is not good news for Reagan, I believe a new update on Starbright is very good news - all crew and principal cast is in place on imdb PRO ; however, there was tragic news at the beginning of May - the cinematographer died in a house fire. I believe it is very close to production.

By all accounts, America is doing extremely well in US theaters, which bodes well for international sales.

Penny,

Starbright has been in pre-production for a very long time. Hard to tell if it's close to filming.

They've also updated the status on Reagan. The film has been downgraded from pre-production to in development. IMDB Pro has the project listed as development unknown.

Status updated 1 July 2014

Not a good sign given the comments on Reagan from the 19 May RNS. I'm expecting another 50m share placing in the next 6/8 weeks.
