According to Bloomberg ESG investment predicted to rise to £50tn by 2025…..the nature of the contracts predicted by Insig and due by end of October should give an indication of Insigs positioning in the market.

Yes I agree, at some point an INSIG fund has to be a real possibility. Especially if it can deliver 30 percentage point outperformance ;)

Maybe Insig AI should raise a fund driven by an effectively passive AI driven model focussing on the best scores.Could charge a management fee and be a genuine process based ESG investment fund.

As investment concentrates around suitable ESG rated investments and the ESG targeted pool of money expands then performance will follow as folks will concentrate on the same names ..outperformance by funds or companies with good ESG credentials is that they attract that ESG money and they outperform relative not because the ESG focus itself makes the companies perform better ..to funds it doesn't matter as long as they buy before others!

They are not solely about ESG grading though, they are also about improved portfolio "beat the benchmarks" performance using DL which is not restricted to ESG Investing.

Remember the quote from one of their presentations last year

"Measurable results 15/04/2021

Insig AI applications have generated the following results for clients:
•30 percentage point outperformance versus the fund’s MSCI World benchmark•
Six-fold increase in correct predicting downgrades of the top versus bottom deciles•
10x increase in RMBS portfolio trading capabilities,
25% reduction in operating costs and enhanced portfolio analytics capabilities•
30% increase in operational efficiency via consolidation of disparate and siloed data source and cloud infrastructure

If the methodology of the approach is accepted as benchmark in protocol assessing investments both the fund management industry and the thousands of listed investments will want to engage...and pay ! They certainly are not the only one in a similar game but they are in the running ..suppose one could think of a fitch type situation ultimately ..grading ESG I guess.Big bucks to the winners who are industry standard..at the moment a rather fragmented and slightly illogical market but that will change as regulators demand due process.

Not sure many people actually read this thread, maybe we could do with a new title, "Insig AI and the Trillion Dollar Opportunity" (or talks), something dowmbeat like that ;)

RB was kind enough to do a Q&A with me. I believe it's highly encouraging. I'm offering new registrations a free copy. https://lemminginvestor.substack.com/p/insig-ai-plc-e18 Once I have notification of registration I'll email a copy.

I expect the 2.25 million buy implicit in the latest (rapidly arranged!) CLN is probably enough for RB to be going on with, as for the mooted cotracts very much depends what they are, in the past they have sometimes been underwhelming. So, as I said, I'm tuning down the excitement until they actually arrive.

There's a pretty big clue in the results! " A number of contract wins expected by the end of next month!"

Maybe, but this CLN has a fixed conversion price, unlike the earlier ones which just had a minimum, so possibly it would fall into the same category as a buy. I am pretty sure buying traded options rather than shares is still covered by the insider trading rules for example.

Richard Bernstein would normally be buying shares post results but I suspect that he has knowledge of an imminent material contract and is thus barred from buying……

Bit of nibbling today, I think it is fair to say the co is now actually in the position which it was assumed to be circa 12 months ago. It seems that income for next year could easily come out ahead of the forecast 6.2 mill too, touch wood.

I idly wonder what RB means when he says in the results the discussion with First Fund manager (40bn AUM) have moved beyond "just "opening a fund? JV? Taking a stake? Multiple funds?

CLN arranged rather quickly compared to previous occasions, an optimist might think RB expects the share price to be higher than the conversion price fairly soon so wants to lock in before that happens. For the type of business it is, or purports to be in future, the cashburn here is actually relatively modest

I hope it drifts back into the 20's so I can buy some more.
