04/5/2010 10:08 | Hope you're right... | eipgam
04/5/2010 08:06 | I fail to see how today's news could warrant such a rise in the SP, looks like an accounting matter to me. Maybe it's a prelude to the Harbinger bid? | enami
27/4/2010 15:59 | Can we have a little rise before close please? DC | daicaprice

20/4/2010 22:35 | Daily Telegraph market report... "Inmarsat perked up 17½ to 770p after Credit Suisse analysts held an "upbeat" meeting with the company's chief financial officer. "We remain more optimistic than consensus about the outlook for Inmarsat's revenue growth in 2010 13.8pc versus consensus of 11pc and believe Inmarsat can continue to beat consensus numbers over 2010," said analysts at Credit Suisse. "HSBC, meanwhile, began coverage of Inmarsat with an "overweight" rating and an 880p price target." | philanderer

30/3/2010 18:48 | LOL I guess the psychological 800 started a bit of profit taking and it turned into a waterfall, maybe day trading shorters pushing it down. I hope they have left their positions open and the Harbinger bid comes tomorrow. Just bounced off the lower Bollinger band at the close so I added some ( buying back a small position I had sold at 770 in early March). Dividend pay day Thursday. | enami
30/3/2010 17:38 | Enami ,I wish you had said 800 !! | broshm

26/3/2010 15:46 | I have a profit slicing sell order at 821. | enami
26/3/2010 15:38 | Bill Gammell CE at CNE did just that the day before the budget.... sold 721k shares at £4.14 to avoid a rise in CGT he (wrongly) expected. Sp now £4.35. So he 'lost' around £150,000 whilst trying to avoid a tax hike that didn't happen. He's doing a top job in every other respect though! | eipgam
26/3/2010 15:21 | Aye 799 high so far today. My feeling is that the market will sell off next Thursday, being the last day of the tax year and CGT gains to be made before next year's higer tax rates for big earners (although CGT remains at 18%). Have noticed that quite a few of my stocks paying early or more up to April 1, making this my best month ever for dividend income. ISAT paid earlier than expected. | enami |
