13/12/2012 13:24 | Had noticed this one around 40p just via the chart, but didnt have time to research...chart looks quite agressive, anyone expecting a slight sell off before the next leg up? | bob monkhouse
13/12/2012 11:48 | IC VIEW: ...even though the share price is riding a 12 month high ... What better time to buy a growth stock ? When do they suggest buying ? When a stock hits a 52 week low ? !!! | bluebelle
13/12/2012 10:11 | I have had very positive feedback from the teach in and I am told the quality of management at the four divisional heads was exceptionally good. | davidosh
13/12/2012 07:33 | Sincerely hope not. | chester
13/12/2012 07:26 | Kiss o' death eh Chester :o) | bigbigdave
13/12/2012 07:01 | Thanks for that bigbigdave. | chester
13/12/2012 06:36 | Gets a buy rating in the IC IC VIEW: Idox is in a growth phase and even though the share price is riding a 12 month high, the forward PE ratio is still only 12. Buy. | bigbigdave
12/12/2012 13:19 | An excellent little company, quietly getting on with making profits and growing the business. One to hold on to and a possible take over target too.. Good luck all holders. | rathlindri
12/12/2012 12:50 | Bought back in today, sub 50, after selling out around 35p. Analyst 'teach in' today went well supposedly and brokers are upgrading forecasts. 'Strong growth story' | stegrego
12/12/2012 12:06 | I personally don't feel there are rights and wrongs when it comes to investment : every one has different investment objectives, timescales, levels of risk aversion etc. etc. and must manage their asset allocation and within that their equity portfolio on that basis. | bluebelle
12/12/2012 11:40 | That is still a rising eps% increase trajectory and we need to allow for a PE increase too to reflect that. Clearly if they are fully valued you will be selling them! I don't think so somehow. Let's see who was right next Christmas. | idomeneo
12/12/2012 11:08 | its a quiet day IDO so lets discuss (This is my largest single holding and a 5 bagger) Despite the acquisitions , second half performance is pretty much the same as first half Real EPS has gone from 1.00p ('10) ,1.28p ('11) to 1.84p (all diluted) The growth next year must be all organic rather than any impact from second half run rate. perhaps they have adopted more conservative policies for booking revenue but it looks pretty fully valued to me They have done a fantastic job Long may it continue | phillis
12/12/2012 10:55 | Rising earnings trajectory for the last 4 years. 55% eps increase puts this at the top tier of the growth stocks table (ranked by eps growth). Should hit 76p (pe of 20) and maybe more after the revised forecast for next year's earnings comes out in the next few months. Similar performance next year would give us £1.20 on a 12 month horizon. I don't think this is up with events at all - the business has been de-risked by the focus on geographical spread and commercial markets - I'd say it is just getting into its stride. | idomeneo
12/12/2012 10:41 | I've seldom sold a stock hitting a 55 day high without subsequently regretting it ! | bluebelle
12/12/2012 10:32 | Bluebelle, yes that's true...finding the next IDOX will be a real challenge! Cfro is right that brokers will probably be upgrading their forecasts, so this is worth holding on to I think. I'm surprised by the strong buying this morning though, as I'd thought they might slip back post-results after the strong recent run. | m1das_touch
12/12/2012 10:00 | Delighted to see you all doing so well from holding this.Long may it continue. One has to hand it too the board, they have done a first class job for investors over the past few years. | clocktower
12/12/2012 09:41 | second half pretty much same as first half real eps suggests this is pretty much up with events | phillis
12/12/2012 09:19 | Im not top-slicing just yet either. Next years earnings likely to be upgraded by quite a bit now. Forward pe is still very low. | cfro
12/12/2012 09:17 | Hold and add on weakness for me through 2013 | pj 1
12/12/2012 09:12 | M1das_Touch 12 Dec'12 - 08:43 - 2232 of 2232 0 0 Tempted to take some profits Always tempting after a good run, but I always ask myself what am I going to do with the money which is going to give me a better return. The answer on this one isn't immediately obvious to me !!! | bluebelle
12/12/2012 08:43 | Clocktower couldn't have chosen a better title for this thread back in 2005! Idox management never fail to deliver and consistently produce excellent results. A solid, cash generative, profitable company. This is by some margin the best performing stock in my SIPP, having bought at 16p on 11 January 2011. Tempted to take some profits, but I agree that this looks like a meaningful breakout so continuing to hold for now. I wonder whether IDOX will consider a main listing in the future? I maintain that they have the potential to be a FSTE 250 company on a 5-7 year timescale. | m1das_touch
12/12/2012 08:40 | Phillis - Me too. Great numbers. | greenroom78
12/12/2012 08:03 | nice opening top slicing a bit | phillis
12/12/2012 07:57 | Superb set of numbers. Management are doing such a great job here they deserve enormous credit. | cfro
12/12/2012 07:39 | Impressive numbers. EIM division looks to be performing exceptionally well. One to tuck away. | rovers2 |
