I'm inclined to write to the company to express my feelings. Is it best to email Camarco?

Considering WH Ireland's broker note says the asset without funding is valued at 242p per share

..without funding it's just oil in the ground....oh & an annual licence fee obligation.

IPO price was 55p. A 15% current increase in share price is nothing to write home about. Shame on the BoD

All valid points.

Feels like an overly negative reaction on the board but then, quite possibly, i'm guilty of being over optimistic.

Still, 60% share appreciation and 4 x mcap in one year as a listed co. is commendable, even if job is only partially done.

Heaven will direct it :)

"Maybe he has played a part so far. Maybe he was brought in to the fold as a director last year(?) for a reason."

Then they should have given him options before the start of negotiating the failed JV.

What if the failed JV had actually been signed within the 90 days? MS would have got nowt.

yeah yeah...I know it's not actually failed, but it certainly looks like it has.

"So why does MS get to reap massive benefits from a JV deal he didn't negotiate?"

Maybe he has played a part so far. Maybe he was brought in to the fold as a director last year(?) for a reason.

Who knows!

I see it as a positive.

CEO is now highly incentivised to get the share price up as much as poss. Much better than having no shares or options. They are not share awards!

Directors were awarded less than half of the options in total. With mgmt getting 1.6m.

Could be seen as a smart move to get whole team incentivised and pushing for a much higher share price

Nc & gh being the largest shareholders are hardly likely to shoot themselves in the foot so directly.

Will the sacrifice of a few % of dilution be beneficial in the long-term is the key question for me.

Some of the posting is bordering on hysterical.

All incoming ceos get options & it was probably part of his package when he took the job.

Other option packages are relatively very small and there may well be more than meets the eye with those imo

I've sold out for now. Podcast and options were a bit meh..

There is lots of value here but given the levels this is now at it will probably still be reasonably priced if/when funding is sorted and happy to have some extra cash for now..

@FB

Something broke today and that something is Trust. The BoD broke it. Not us.

I have already emailed GH and told him that it seems wrong that the BoD have benefited from the drop while most shareholders are under water.

I can see that Majiq should be incentivised and today most definite does that.I disagree with others though that news of a JV cannot happen at any time.Ironically, my view is that they wanted to get share options in place for Majiq ASAP, knowing that the former potential JV partner could sign imminently. They technically aren't in black out period though, because a near term JV sign up is out of their hands. So, my view is they had a very short term window to do these options before black out again.
