Ngms27: I agree, an imminent fund-raising my guess. But according to you, there is no oil left @ HUR and we would be out of business by end January 2021 - no wait, you updated your model to have us out of business by April 2021!

Time to update your model again because if there is going to be an imminent fund-raising, there is definitely good news on the way regarding our oil reserves, no?

As always, one needs to take ngms27's doom predictions with a pinch of salt!

If that is the case then a decent BOD would sort out some good news first , time will confirm which it is.

Kind of you ..have followed for years and was a shareholder for a long period ,was a true believer that this would be a find of intl significance, exited a while ago as things unravelled but continued to watch have got back in following last update around these levels as I believe the new management kitchen sinked it and that some marginal improvements in recoverable could make a huge difference

New posters might well be new position holders putting option money in having looked at the risk reward from here. Might not be that clueless as other holders after all ? Happy hunting.

So you don’t have to evidence your comments just ask more questions? Good game this.

...CA went public with their novel idea about "significant" recoverable oil below the OWC. You should try doing some basic research.

So you don't have to evidence your comments just ask more questions? Good game this.I understand CA has taken expert advise on the data available in its conclusions.I'm afraid blindly trusting a managements interpretation of data with this counter hasn't proved the wisest move so far. Some independent thought on how best to secure some value for shareholders should be welcomed no belittled, unless you are in a knowledgeable position.

“Maybe the board of HUR aren't buying CA's fantasy about large volumes of recoverable oil belw the OWC?

HUR have publicly stated (RNS 18 Dec),
...we continue to believe there is significant value in Lancaster and our broader West of Shetland portfolio,...”

On the same post ! can you elaborate where you think the significant value is seen if not from further recoverable oil ?

Also can you explain why CAs apparent detailed engagement backed by their experts opinion is fantasy? Are you privy to conversations? Is this the extent of their proposals do you understand ?

...Is anybody doubting there's some potential ABOVE the OWC? Or have you bought into CA's fantasy? If you can explan how oil is trapped BELOW the OWC in this FB, I'm all ears. Thanks.

I can read rns' thanks ...I am strongly doubting the level of engagement in the interests of maximising shareholder value...it's an opinion and whatever narrative you want to copy and paste from the board won't change that.

I am delighted you think the board are providing you with a clear and comprehensive plan as to how best to maximise shareholder value..but I am allowed to have a different opinion I guess on what is going on.

..Not sure where that comes from. I'm not on the board ;-#)) To clarify, the following is a statement by the board of HUR, which I mentioned above,

....."We will now commence a period of stakeholder engagement to seek alignment on the merits of this further Lancaster activity and the support and/or approvals which may be required to execute this programme. While there can be no certainty as to the outcome of this engagement, we continue to believe there is significant value in Lancaster and our broader West of Shetland portfolio, and we remain focused on delivering that value for the benefit of our stakeholders."

Ha..what I dont want is the bond holders running the company as it goes which I believe is becoming the case. Bondholders will have no interest in equity holders interests.I am delighted you think the board are providing you with a clear and comprehensive plan as to how best to maximise shareholder value..but I am allowed to have a different opinion I guess on what is going on.

Could this be the start of CA “get out strategy,” blaming the BoD whilst day trading the shares to at least a no loss position?. Just a horrible thought I am compelled to share, sorry

. One must presume that engagement with equity holders such as CA has been non existent

..Although yesterday's ramble from CA mentioned "detailed engagement" (post 23052)

Appears to me CA are becoming increasingly aware and frustrated that the board have become paralysed as they try to keep bond holders on side likely at the expense of equity holders. One must presume that engagement with equity holders such as CA has been non existent and they find themselves in a void in the future planning process as the board faff around with bond holders who likely want zero risk maximum payout even if there is the possibility of substantial value above and beyond outstanding bond issuance if suitable investment is made.Unfortunately the interests of bond holders do not align with equity holders here but the board need to get tough and come up with a plan in the interests of all stakeholders and maximise the value to all.

Amudsen spirit left Norway yesterday thats on its way to Solan. Stena Natalita sch to leave Rotterdam this evg i was thinking Week end offload possible, we still use the supply vessel Grampian Sovereign which has been rolled over for another 12mths it seems, that was done in December .Also safety vessel changed which is the norm. New input date showing over on o/g for Lincoln intervention application, most probably oil and gas have brought all applications o/s in 2020 to the 2021 tab not sure, probably at this point awaiting decision from Spirit.
