19/1/2021 10:50 | LFDKMP, I'm just saying what the 9/11 RNS stated around the cores. It would have been madness to flow test a zone with < 1% oil content. This information as far as I can tell wasn't provided to shareholders until the kitchen sinking, this information for my part would have set the alarm bells ringing way before water started showing in the wells, before any development as it would take a very special explanation to suggest this wasn't residual oil underneath a shallower OWC. | ![]() ngms27

19/1/2021 08:56 | tgg As you say what a whopper. I suspect I am not alone in giving far far too much credence to his continuing confirmations that all was well. "They will see". Seems "they" were right to be sceptical. | ![]() lfdkmp

19/1/2021 08:43 | I haven't been on this thread for a while. What happened to Robert Trice. Did he slink bask to his shed with his reputation in tatters? Will anyone in the oil industry take him seriously again? | ![]() lfdkmp

Speak for yourself Leo. My own loss was far from small. -------------------- A classic example of the Dunning Kruger effect - lecturing to others with supposed precision on the likely denouement for the shares having by his own admission got his trading of the same completely wrong!! Hope that helps. I have no position in HUR. | ![]() yasx
18/1/2021 17:09 | thefrontdoor 18 Jan '21 - 16:53 - 22980 of 22980 0 0 0 the greatgeraldo.. '..An average rate of 11kbopd for 2021..' So with stakeholder negotiations currently ongoing...what do you think they'll do about it? ...That 11k bopd is a projection......may be there or thereabouts, could be wildly optimistic.....who knows?! What they deperatelt need is for Lancs to be cashflow neutral at worst for 2021, if well 6 hits a major problem HUR are in trouble. Then they've got to bite the bullet & decide on any remedial action...& hope any well 7z ST is drilled problem free into a productive zone (not a given). Around the same time as committing to drill, they need to sort the FPSO lease - maybe get some flexibility from Bluewater in return for bigger revenue split? & of course, they'll want to keep the CB holders on side......maybe by tapping equity holders for a wad of cash to part retire & mainly extend the CBs.......with a much lower conversion rate. All the time hoping the OP stays at or above current levels (edit) PS......Thinking about it, 11k bopd as a 2021 average for well 6 does seem very much a best case scenario....... & maybe not too realistic ? | ![]() thegreatgeraldo

18/1/2021 12:56 | Steve73 18 Jan '21 - 11:07 - 22976 of 22977 0 1 1 An average rate of 11kbopd for 2021, with a starting rate of c. 12 suggests that we'll be at around 10kbopd by year end, if we assume linear decline. Borderline breakeven and highly dependent on oil price... ...I have mentioned it once or twice - HUR are very exposed to the performance of a single well ...& the OP obv. At least the FPSO has been very reliable. | ![]() thegreatgeraldo
18/1/2021 11:10 | Nothing new about well 6 being choked back....... announced by the company, ...." In early November 2020, the Company decided to limit production to approximately 12,000 bopd for reservoir evaluation and management purposes and aims to maintain production around this level in the near-term." 18 Dec RNS | ![]() thegreatgeraldo
18/1/2021 11:07 | ghh... I'd missed that comment on the choking.. thanks. An average rate of 11kbopd for 2021, with a starting rate of c. 12 suggests that we'll be at around 10kbopd by year end, if we assume linear decline. Borderline breakeven and highly dependent on oil price... and that depends on OPEC continuing to play ball as I don't see global demand making much of a recovery. | ![]() steve73
18/1/2021 10:47 | What we don't know is the % contribution from the sandstones and how this impacts water cut going forward. Is this not fundamental to any analysis? .....or how the sandstone is behaving..it's uncased, so _could_ be liable to erode | ![]() thegreatgeraldo
18/1/2021 10:46 | But Hannam's latest note: The current production of 12.1kbbl/d and water cut of ~25% remains steady. ....It's not steady........ 18 Dec RNS........... "The 205/21a-6 well is currently producing at c.12,300 bopd on artificial lift with a c.23% water cut" 14 Jan RNS.......... " The Lancaster field continues to produce from the 205/21a-6 well alone, with current production of c. 12,100 bopd on artificial lift and a water cut of c.25%. ".......... | ![]() thegreatgeraldo |
