03/2/2021 14:00 | Can someone remind me as to why HUR couldn't tie-back 'well 14', but instead palnned to P&A it? I think the Mar 2020 RNS below relates to the next Lincoln well which was not drilled. Maybe my 80 yo memory is failing me though. "ยท The GWA Joint Venture will build-out the equipment and materials required to tie-back a single well from the GWA to the Aoka Mizu FPSO on a 50:50 basis with an additional net cost to Hurricane of $20.5 million. On completion, these items will be held in storage until the GWA Joint Venture sanctions the tie-back of a well to the Aoka Mizu FPSO, with the required regulatory consents to do so." | ![]() mrwaite
03/2/2021 13:03 | post 23282 Cheers, very flexible approach to commitments rather than a blanket open ended extension? PS Worth bearing in mind the depth Lincoln well 14 was drilled to & HUR's thinking about the depth of the Lincoln OWC.... | ![]() thegreatgeraldo

03/2/2021 11:35 | bearnecessities33 3 Feb '21 - 11:23 - 23277 of 23277 0 5 0 As I said, not long to wait for the company CPR (before the end of this very quarter, as per HUR), so best wait for that .....Fair enough.. .... So your view that the downgrade was "strangely brutal" is just wishful thinking..... not some insight into why the OWC may be deeper than the company believe. Thanks for clarifying. | ![]() thegreatgeraldo
03/2/2021 11:23 | As I said, not long to wait for the company CPR (before the end of this very quarter, as per HUR), so best wait for that, and I will certainly not attempt to predict any figures while awaiting imminent updates. However, one thing noteworthy here for all is that West Shetland is generally considered a very rich area, and to quote Antony Maris from the 14 Jan company RNS: “A continued recovery in oil prices would further enhance the significant value we see in our West of Shetland portfolio.” DYOR. | ![]() bearnecessities33

If you believe the OWC is deeper than the company view, care to share what your view is based on? Thanks. | ![]() thegreatgeraldo
03/2/2021 10:34 | Not long to wait for the company CPR which I suspect, will be lot better than expected, particularly post the strangely brutal kitchen sinking of HUR assets conducted here last September! | ![]() bearnecessities33
03/2/2021 10:18 | I don't doubt the short/medium term outlook for oil is bullish. What I do doubt is how much HUR can produce before they go below the commercial threshold. Its my opinion this will be before any remediation takes place. | ![]() ngms27

03/2/2021 07:34 | Leoneobull. I enjoy your posts. Often well balanced and thought out and a decent foil to the constant negativity on here. I would however caution you against commentating on Polygons modus operandi. I think that can only end in tears on a public forum. Just my view and feel free to ignore. | ![]() tradoil
