"If a "Forward Work Programme" is announced/confirmed AND CARRIED OUT AND FAILS, then we are due a massive NEGATIVE de-rate here along with DOWNWARD momentum from current very much OVERvalued share price levels, IMHO, GLA"

FFS. pmsl, we are at 2.4p. Now maths not being my strong point, but, I think the most we can fall is 2.4p. Not sure that constitutes a MASSIVE de-rate does it?

What is for sure, is that if a Forward work programme is announced we will see a positive reaction share price wise, cos that is what happens.

Does anyone have a single example of an oil company suggesting spending 75 million usd on a water injector yet several chumps on a BB can immediately tell such remediation would be pointless?

I haven't heard the BP rumour but it did occur to me that instant an option for HUR to buy some production in NS? Where are BP assets that pmo had to drip out of?

Does anyone have even a single example of water injection being used to help solve a rising water cut problem anywhere in the world? I can't think of one and I've been around this sector for several decades. This is not my speciality in the sector though!

..I'n with you....to say I was bemused is an unserstatement when they announced that the answer to aquifer water coning was to inject more water into the aquifer.... To be fair, they haven't, as far as I'm aware, stated where they're planning to inject water.... However, it's hard to see them inject water anywhere than below the OWC. If anyone believes or knows different...fire away!

Let me re-word that

Once a "Forward Work Programme" is announced/confirmed AND CARRIED OUT AND SUCCESSFUL, then we are due a massive positive re-rate here along with forward momentum from current very much undervalued share price levels, IMHO, GLA.

However......

If a "Forward Work Programme" is announced/confirmed AND CARRIED OUT AND FAILS, then we are due a massive NEGATIVE de-rate here along with DOWNWARD momentum from current very much OVERvalued share price levels, IMHO, GLA

Once a "Forward Work Programme" is announced/confirmed, and if sufficiently convincing, then we are due a massive positive re-rate here along with forward momentum from current very much undervalued share price levels, IMHO, GLA.

So a "reliable source", but you asked initially if it was BS?

Maybe HUR are looking for a home for the Aoka Mizu just in case Lancs goes pear-shaped?

Few bits flying around that Hurricane are talking with BP. Is this old news or just BS?

It would be nice to see this have a sustained rise.

A slow drift up to 4p would be good for starters, think it may be turning a corner.

Good to see intimations that HUR is at its lows...still await the forward plans.. However the shorters are still at it, but not driving down significantly....sometime they will need to close shorts, assuming that the current BOD deliver, well 6 stabilizes and POO rises. Good to have the free cash and a corporate bond in the future, a low break even etc

Thanks. Next week then! If confirmed, I would guess that production has held well at c.14.5k bopd for the last few weeks.

Laserdisc: Are we close to our next (18th) cargo offload yet? If not mistaken, we are now 24 days since our last (17th) offload. If production has held at the stated 14.5k bopd (RNS: 8/10/20), then we should have produced c.348k barrels already. Another offload during next week, maybe?
