29/10/2020 12:20 | agna, people said the same at 10p, then at 9p, then at 8p, then at 7p, then at 6p, then at 5p, then at 4p, then at 3p, then at 2p........and perhaps soon at 1p. This really is very binary now imo. On the next update, if well 6 water cut has increased again - then its going down well into the 1p level. If well 6 water cut has stabilised - then it might go up 50%. So its 50% down or 50% up on the next news..........imo. | pro_s2009
29/10/2020 12:10 | lunanlodge- if this goes below 2- I’ll be watching to get a few more. I don’t believe they will stay at these levels- and the quicker I can take profit the better. At these prices, your average share price goes down so quickly. | agnabeya
29/10/2020 10:54 | How will you pay all the outstanding debts lunanlodge ? Company cash is way lower than outstanding short and long term debt. | pro_s2009
29/10/2020 10:34 | This is being pushed below 2p and in theory I can then purchase the company with money I don't have, pay for the takeover with the company cash, liquidate and pocket the remainder. Good idea? | lunanlodge
29/10/2020 09:43 | Selling is relentless, chart is horrific, worst performer on the markets by a mile. | jibba jabber
29/10/2020 08:14 | Don’t be scared chaps- worry only spoils the now- and fixes nothing in the future. | agnabeya
29/10/2020 07:45 | I am thinking of jumping back in the ring, but it seems MMS sweeping the legs :(. What do the Senseis here think? I have learnt many stuffs in the shares gambling malarky in the last 2 months. The odds are worst than the fruit machines and online roulettes. CK Strike First Strike Hard No Mercy. | cobra kai
28/10/2020 21:41 | frank, the wider context scares the hell out of me | mhin2
28/10/2020 21:14 | mhin2; Don't get me wrong I'm not disagreeing with you - the current situation scares the hell out of me!! | fat frank
28/10/2020 21:11 | I think CA's holding is nearly 250m shares??? | fat frank
28/10/2020 21:04 | Fat...I hope you are right, but it has been happening for some time...however something/somebody has to absorb the shares | mhin2
28/10/2020 21:01 | mhin2; Hmmm.... not sure. It's only 7m sold and 3.5m bought. I don't think volumes are that great???? HUR 2% down on the day in line with all markets. Bad day for oil and all commodities today.... | fat frank
28/10/2020 20:25 | somebody is selling big style (albeit slowly)...is it kerogen...could it be CA. I wonder if the holding RNS requirements are being ignored...after all the chocolate teapot FCA seems to impose fines that are less than the additional money made from not reporting...i.e. there is no real penalty. Having said that oil is sinking again...until they get a decent policy response it will carry on like this...but they cant blame China...apparently aviation fuel demand 95% back to pre-covid levels. Seem like the China century could be upon us! It only takes one or two fundamental mistakes to change the trajectory....we have been experiencing that with Hur | mhin2
28/10/2020 16:21 | Leonebull: No...... sadly. | fat frank
28/10/2020 15:58 | A tenner? You planning on making a takeover bid? :) Just gallows humour, no offence intended. I am soaked here too. | lovewinshatelosses
28/10/2020 15:27 | Can anyone lend me a tenner? | leoneobull
28/10/2020 13:23 | How long before this is in the 1s? A week or less would be my guess. | jibba jabber
28/10/2020 13:13 | Added....filled a load of orders today | laptop15
27/10/2020 10:40 | Talking paranoia and politics- Looks like Kavanagh and the SCOTUS are gearing up to steal the election. So just who was responsible for ousting Dr.T- and enthroning Bev Smith? He is supposed to have left by ‘mutual consent’- is that right? The more I think about it- the less I’m buying it. | agnabeya
27/10/2020 10:19 | Oooh Dave, be careful, you make it sound like politics!! LOL | scaleyman
27/10/2020 08:08 | Sbdy says elsewhere that BP has net debt of $40bn. Not sure if correct, but they made 100m gross profit and a net loss in latest results.... | leoneobull
27/10/2020 03:31 | Absolutely spot on, mhin..! Dr.T might well have been a 'glass half full' individual, but he could never have been so wrong with his (and RPS') assertions. You do well to scrutinise Bev smith and the PESGB, and its raison d'etre.. And, I concur, that the only issue now at HUR is one of credibility. | linz22
26/10/2020 23:47 | "• There is still significant potential upside for Hurricane stakeholders • Water injection appears the most likely production enhancement mechanism but this and others are still under review" That was at a different price level. Lets hope that all the years of previous work is at least 20% correct and tech review 20% wrong (I was expecting a material downgrade to be 40-60%...gosh did I get a shock, but at least they intimated that it was worst case...they assumed the WC had risen to the approx level of well 7z lowest point- no other explanation was entertained-despite accepting complexity). I have now looked at Bev Smiths position as President of the Petroleum Exploration Society of Great Britain. I thought it was a professional body, but it essentially a networking group of `like minded people' involved in the north sea...seeking to advance their careers! "The PESGB was established in 1964 by a group of like-minded professionals keen to create a community of geoscientists for networking and sharing ideas." Dr T was never `like minded'...in fact did the `like-minded' not laugh at/poo poo him?...So before writing off Dr T remember, Well 6 is doing rather well at above 14,000bopd, as was well 7z, Lincoln was ok (10,000 bopd) and WW produced 1200 bopd. There is clearly oil in the fields, as there is in Solan, Shiehallion and Clair If you think it was `kitchen sinking' Hur is a bargain; if you think the TR was intimating fatality (in which case the bod misled) hur is a liability. I await a forward programme...I just wonder what the words `significant' and `material' mean.... | mhin2 |
