05/8/2019 19:09 | Where are all the bulls gone? I remember the day they stood their ground... even in administration they were steadfast. Very soft in markets these days. | sentimentrules
05/8/2019 18:49 | Prefab, Yes it is not going to be pretty anywhere, but I think the shale will be really hard hit this time, lots of articles popping up about the issues.. as below, however, Bi oil will most likely pick it up cheap.. | muddy_40
05/8/2019 18:45 | With you on that TG | lunanlodge
05/8/2019 18:44 | And all the while the US rig count falls week on week, it's had one up week in 4 months. At some point the capex cuts will start to bite and tight oil production in the US will plateau and start falling, I suspect Q4 this year for it to plateau. Then in 2020 there's a huge amount of debt due to be either repaid or refinanced. It's going to get messy over there. | prefab
05/8/2019 18:14 | luna, that would be a major Black Friday Event for the buyer if it ever happened to HUR and that is why I would like to see the price moving upward. When I decided to buy shares and become a long term holder, it wasn't because I envisaged a take out at 54p per share. Hopefully, as time moves on and Lancaster EPS is derisked further, coupled with success at Lincoln (fingers crossed), we will see some upward movement. | the guardian
05/8/2019 16:50 | Jim, TG, My experience on previous low ball take out on shares I held (Paysafe) is - Average over previous 6 months plus 20% which if lucky might just equal the highest price over the same period. That's how they did it. Of course there was a massive fake news de ramp prior to bid. Who decides whether to accept any bid?. BOD/ institutions thought a take over price that was less than the previous high for the year was a good deal, funny that. But what do I know. | lunanlodge
05/8/2019 14:37 | Thanks Carcosa for the info my timeframe on Lincoln 15th Aug to 11th Sept that window will give us something to work around for activity, I expect tanker tracking to AM around 20th August sooner means we are flowing above expectations, only indicative dates, my continued policy is buy what you can afford on the dips in small amounts | laserdisc
05/8/2019 14:22 | Sorry Ithaca. I find it hard to type on a mobile phone. | the guardian
05/8/2019 14:19 | Jim, having been a holder of Ithica shares, I have the same feelings as you. | the guardian
05/8/2019 14:03 | I think any substantive positive news regarding Lincoln Crestal within a few days is highly unlikely. Firstly HUR already gave a ballpark figure of 80 days Secondly previous drilling provides us with the following information: Warwick deep: 205/26b-C TVDSS 1899 / 33 Days 205/26b-13Z TVDSS 1964 + 712m horizontal / 41 Days Total 74 Days Halifax 205/23-A / (205/23- 3 & 205/23- 3A) TVDSS 2004m deviated bore / 65 Days Lancaster 205/21a-G TVDSS 1725m deviated bore / 25 days Lancaster 205/21a-7 & 205/21a-7Z / 92 days total Lancaster 205/21a-4 & Lancaster 205/21a-4Z / 53 days total Whirlwind 205/21a-5 TVDSS 960 / 46 days Lincoln 205/26b-A TVDSS 2325Deviated bore / 41 Days Lincoln Crestal 205/26b-B Spud 12 July 2019 Planned TVDSS 1769 and Horizontal 1000m @75 days gives 25 Sept 2019 | carcosa
05/8/2019 13:38 | Yes, getting acquired at this sort of time would be pretty disastrous. The important thing is that when someone rings up the board and wants to "interrupt" at 20% above some opportunistically and temporarily low price that the board turn them down and ask for at least the current risked valuation. I still see updates from Ithaca which got taken out just when it was getting somewhere. We're in negative momentum and I've learned not to fight it and it looks like noone else can be bothered fighting it either. Hopefully the LC drilling will reverse the direction of momentum. And hopefully the board are ignoring every muppet who rings up wanting to buy the whole things at a low ball price. There will be plenty of others along later at higher prices. | jim digriz
05/8/2019 13:32 | Wet your knot: News on Lincoln Crestal not expected for at least another ten days. Maybe a little longer | bocase
05/8/2019 13:02 | Well mentioned the other day, the sh*tstorm waiting above 45p. Looks like not enough percentage in it from these prices for the instas to trade to. Not to worry lads. The bounce might come from lower, but bounce she shall a bit one day. Get more short value there. Probably a bounce 35/36 to 39. Short | sentimentrules
05/8/2019 12:25 | Any tankers around lads? I don't mean SP | sentimentrules
05/8/2019 11:53 | Does anyone have any news on the Lincoln Crestal drilling? I did post this on the other thread but was suggested to re-post here. I noted that this was non-RNS updates, basically the feedback we used to get on ship movements and the like from some posters. | wet your knot
05/8/2019 11:51 | I'm classed as a troll so no access for me . Let them enjoy the bull rants anyway . Might as well go down smiling... | sentimentrules
05/8/2019 11:48 | Agree with both of you guys. Price of oil is a headwind and Hurricane news flow is a tail wind which is preventing as big a fall as experienced by PMO and EnQuest CNE and TLW. Relatively Hur will go up as detlrisking of Lancaster and Lin C will have a much larger impact my calculations suggests anyway as none of 2C is priced in base on my previous posts with the calculations. | hello31
05/8/2019 11:44 | We are looking cheap. Lets hope we don't become an acquisition. | my5harebox
05/8/2019 11:36 | Gary: I am sure we will go higher but we have headwinds at the moment from Trump's idiotic policies and the falling oil price caused by them undermining the demand for oil. We cannot ignore macro economic events. | bocase
05/8/2019 11:34 | Everyone on here is filtered. Suggest you move over to the other Hurricane bb where the trolls have been given no access. | ffsadvfn
05/8/2019 11:12 | To be honest I'm disappointed if this goes straight down. Im not in full lot here. Fully expected a teletubby net just above 45p again. Load my last 30% short lot in. If it doesn't come il just have to use the 39.50 bounce to get a bit higher short value Anyway 10% net gain locked down. Always make sure ya get somethin smurfs.... | sentimentrules
05/8/2019 11:06 | How do you come to that conclusion,as i see us at a major support area, ready to go higher when we get the Lincoln results and we sell another load of the black oil. | gary38
05/8/2019 11:04 | Cervelo 're "What are we looking at for the next £25m revenue at offload? 3 weeks?" What your looking at is a big pile of POO. No not that type, the other type that stinks. | sentimentrules
05/8/2019 10:54 | Does anyone have any news on the Lincoln Crestal drilling? We used to get some good (non-RNS) updates on here. Maybe some people are on hols?? | wet your knot |
