Why is Hurricane moving up, clearly not the weather? Maybe Spirit? Or maybe the FD decided to buy lunch for a few institutions?

Anyway a pleasing sight after getting hammered on Pantheon yesterday due to its idiot Aussie partners 88 Energy and RMP ramping to build volume only to be followed by an uncommercial discovery,

Very odd to think of Hurricane as a safe haven from madmen! What is is going to be like post hook up with cashflow?

I'm very pleased with the rise but after sitting in the doldrums for weeks, has anyone seen anything that can explain why it has suddenly started to shoot up? Oil is down at the moment.

When was stamp duty reintroduced on AIM share purchases?

>>>>>>>>>>>.

As far as I know it hasn't been reintroduced. My last buy (a week or so ago) didn't have any applied.

Check with your broker if you've been charged it..

This is coming from me and just a suggestion - this conversation is getting a little out of hand - is it time for a moderated board

Edgar yet another patronising, condescending, dismissive and intolerant remainer.

This is not about immigration per se but about the creation of a super state, Brussels are hell bent on creating an Empire and as history tells us Empire's do not end well!!

There were so many reasons to vote leave and the NHS and immigration were not very high up my list.

That may be right. But then Londoners know the value of immigration and living side by side.

London really is different. You need to go to a Wetherspoons to find a Brexit voter. The Evening Standard and Sadiq Khan and all Lib Dems are Remainers.
At one stage they half seriously explored the idea of London becoming a separate City State.

I used to live in London, I still read the Evening Standard on line.
Mostly the people there have no idea of what goes on in the world outside the M25. When they go to their cottage they take 'London' with them.

Have to say, its not just Leavers. I was very minorly involved in raising funding for the Gina Miller case. Sat glued to Supreme Court TV during the (brilliant) arguments of both sides. That case changed our constitution in the sense of increasing the power of Parliament, somthing I thought all sides agreed on.And then what did the House of Commons do? Overhelmingly voted to trigger Art 50 with no plan and knowing that it set the clock ticking. Gross negligence. Even if I agreed with Leaving I would think that was wrong. And now we have to ask other countries would they please give us an extension from our own stupidity. #takebackcontrolMy point being, here, that even Remainer MPs voted for that and were grossly in dereliction of their duty in doing so. If it was a Company the shareholders would sack and then sue the Board.

TG

It seems we only disagree on minor things like rope and Crystal Amber!!

Great that we seem to agree on the important things!

I have a friend who runs a business in London employing over 100 people and he has been ostracised by friends who voted remain because he voted out. Does not get as many dinner invitations as he used to.

Buzz,it's not very often that I agree with you but today, I agree with all of your posts.

I was mowing the lawn when my next door neighbour called me stupid for voting for Brexit just after the referendum. I leapt over the wall and he ran off and didn't speak to me for a year. I don't understand why anyone would want to remain in the EU but I don't call the people that do.

The majority of our politicians have ignored the vote of the people and I will never vote in an election again.
