Euro / EU longevity. Was being generous as timeframe wasn't my point..I find it quite amazing how the 'debate has all been focussed on the relatively here and now, without any debate focussing on the next say 20 years..The faster the demise, the sooner the Phoenix. I think Brexit will actually be doing 'them' a favour and lessen their pain.

Rahosi I don't think it would take the megalomaniacs long to take over the mk 2 Eu much the same as they did the mk 1 version.

Personally I think Brexit is academic because:-Will the Euro even exist in 8 to 12 years???Will the EU even exist (as we know it) in 10 to 15 years?Roll on the phoenix EFTA mark2 (as I label it). Ie EU without the federalism. Am sure the UK would then be a willing participant.Better to be an onlooker during the demise.
