I'll wager the sp's moving with the imminent spudding event, there's nothing moves an oilers share price quite like a bit of drill tip optimism.

As part of the Mrs M 'Deal' which is actually a treaty, have problems to do with Gibraltar and Channel Islands all been solved?
According to BBC: EU does not recognise Vienna Convention, therefore Art 61 of that is irrelevant.
I say;- EU is not a country even though it is an entity capable of agreeing a treaty the contents of which are 'an island' and not subject to conventions or precedent.

It was quite clear that we had a once in a lifetime decision to make and we made it.

Please ask your MP to heed that decision. It really is important that we do not destroy the last shreds of respect that we, the people, have for them, the politicians. We are where we are today. We all have to face that and live with the consequences. We must accept that perhaps we should have done more before the Referendum. Perhaps we were surprised and shocked - but we have to live with the result.
We have to live with the result for the greater good.

We know that the Brexit campaign was funded by Russia and that they lied and cheated the electorate.

do try to be civil and respect the fact that people of intelligence, good faith and integrity have different opinions from you.

The 27 other countries will be told by the EU elite which way to vote and that will be for an extension. That's a pity as the British people voted to leave the E.U. Unfortunately we have a parliament full of MP's who are going to defy the will of the people.

Farage is currently lobbying EU Govts to refuse an extension and cause a No Deal crash out. Which is now against the will of Parliament, which he has argued should be sovereign. If I were a thick Leaver I would say that he was a traitor, like I have been called for arguing about issues in a democracy. But I am not so I wont.Just think about this, though. If the EU refuse an extension we are left with crash out no deal or revoke art 50 (which we do not need the EU to consent to). Parliament will not let a crash out happen. Farage is actually lobhying to make No Brexit more likely. That is how stupid he is.As a Hard Remainer I am delighted.

Yes same MP's standing for election and the majority of them retaining their seats and still refusing to change their position.

I'm pretty sure a GE isn't a credible justification where the same MP's would simply be swapping seats, the same voters would be voting for the same two main parties largely with the new kids being nothing more than coalition partners, ad infinitum.

On CF, they suspended the fund and then the last I saw they were trying to find a new backer. I don't think we know status of 5m short, but anyone casting their eye over the fund might ask questions

"The UK has the power unilaterally to revoke Article 50 and put an end to Brexit. But to extend it, it needs the unanimous approval of the 27 EU member states, and it’s far from certain to get it. EU officials have made it clear that they will not approve an extension without good reason, and have hardened their position in the past few days.

After May’s deal was voted down for the second time last night, Donald Tusk set out an EU red line: the UK must have a “credible justification” for seeking an extension. As far as the EU is concerned, carrying on the current tortured negotiation process does not meet that standard.

A “credible justification” could be some kind of electoral event, such as a second referendum or a general election. Or it could simply be a technical extension to get essential Brexit legislation through parliament. That would certainly need to happen even if May got her deal through parliament on a third attempt, as there isn’t time to get through the laws that would prevent no deal from accidentally happening after 29 March.

Since an Article 50 extension requires unanimous EU approval, politically fraught issues that were settled during the negotiations—such as Gibraltar—could now be dredged up once again. This alone could drag the negotiations past 29 March and make no deal Brexit an inevitability."
