27/2/2019 08:34 | I thought that one was covered earlier, the rope would be too heavy for the helicopters operating out there. | fireplace22
27/2/2019 08:31 | Would the helicopter carry cargo? | fatnacker
27/2/2019 08:20 | I have one with a noose on the end Rayrac. I will send it to you. Sounds like you need it. | bocase
27/2/2019 08:16 | Looking at the share price movement, no rope yet? | rayrac
27/2/2019 08:15 | Wow. Just clicked on your link Laser and can see the helicopter flying over the northern Cairngorms heading for Cromarty. | bocase
27/2/2019 08:12 | Thanks laser. | bocase
27/2/2019 08:09 | crew change yes would agree think its normally mon & fri flights is this an extra | laserdisc
27/2/2019 08:09 | Laser: What do you see as the significance of the flight from Aberdeen? Delivering crew member to AM before departure perhaps? In which case we may see departure shortly after. | bocase
27/2/2019 08:06 | flight just taken off from DYCE heading out over blackburn | laserdisc
27/2/2019 07:47 | The ship movements might qualify the crew for a tax break or count as days at sea. | fatnacker
27/2/2019 07:46 | Great Gran says she's knitting as fast as possible but it won't be ready till next week! | eggbaconandbubble
27/2/2019 07:46 | Yes the big unknown is, do they have the rope. My money is still on departure sometime today but we will soon find out. | bocase
27/2/2019 07:25 | We still don't know what the recent AM excursion offshore was all about - maybe some kind of sea trials? As bocase mentioned the AM could still be off sometime today in time for the best conditions which are all day Friday and the scheduled helicopter flight would seem to suggest that that is quite possible. | bountyhunter
27/2/2019 07:23 | Given the near perfect (for the time of year) conditions, I think we have to assume a delay with the rope or some other unknown. Disappointing. | the drewster
27/2/2019 07:19 | They will miss a good day tomorrow. I assume that we don't know whether the rope is on board or not. | the guardian
27/2/2019 07:16 | Pointless going without the rope though.... | control1
27/2/2019 06:43 | There is still plenty of time if they are going for the hook up on Friday. Friday's sea conditions are good all day so in theory could leave as late as say 6am tomorrow to arrive 6am Friday. | bocase
27/2/2019 06:41 | Disappointing that AM isn't underway yet. | the guardian
27/2/2019 03:01 | Using marinetraffic - If you "right-click" on the AM on the map, it brings up the "waypoint" options. you can then zoom out and "left-click" at the approximate turning points on the journey to Lancaster. So from where it currently is, go just north of eastward (ENE?) to allow it to get around the wind farm, then northwards to just south-west of FairIsle, then north-west to the final destination. The last point shows the total distance, and also the time based on the last speed (so that's meaningless whilst she's at anchor). My route assumptions give me 200 nm, so 25 hours at 8kn. But still no sign of movement yet though... a bit worrying..!! | steve73
27/2/2019 00:34 | A Vat thing? | davidblack
26/2/2019 23:36 | Grampian Sovereign heading 95deg 10.3kn (Destination is 'yesterday' Edit:- About turn. Did the same yesterday. Goes outside 3 mile limit & returns?? | rahosi
26/2/2019 22:22 | If you say so rayrac. | fatnacker
26/2/2019 22:21 | Rayrac, this is a sea journey, so it's nautical miles, around 180, as you've been told, Cromarty to Lerwick. Cromarty to Lancaster is about the same distance. I don't know where you think Lancaster is, or what route you are assuming, but there's no way it's 150 miles, of either sort, further. | greyingsurfer
26/2/2019 22:14 | In a straight line, It’s 200miles cromarty/lerwick. I reckon another 150 miles can be added to that? The trouble is, you guys go straight...through the Orkney’s. ;)) | rayrac |
