Oil/gas still has a place, I'm not anti oil and gas, but if alternative solutions can be found I don't have a problem with that either.

A litte boost in the UK oil sector, could help UK's final leap into 100% renewables. Come on Hurricane!

I agree ICE cars will be around for a while, but watch out for China, they are leaping ahead with EV.



In the UK most new cars must be electric by 2030



All the main car manufacturers are going electric.

I'm surprised you are not convinced, the whole car industry is backing EV's and governments as well.



I think things will be speed up as the new mines open up for Lithium and Cobalt, and unlike petrol/diesel the Lithium/Cobalt can be recycled when the battery dies after 10-15 years.

All commuter EV users charge up at night on economy 7, the cars have timers in for this purpose. Why pay 3x the price during the day. For the few EV drivers who do longer distances they will tend to go for wehicles with a longer range, so need not charge so often.

Anyway the big revolution in green energy is Tidal Turbines, they produce electricity 24/7 good examples here





Orkney is producing more electricity than it can export so it's converting it into Hydrogen. And these Orkney systems are just experimental. Tidal generator production is going to replace oil as the next big industry in Scotland.

Oil won't stay down here long. It is too low for the Saudi's. They will get OPEC to agree a significant cut on the 6th December..so if you are short, now would be a good time to close before AM gets hooked up and the oil price rises again.

Oil down oiler's down it's not rocket science.

Lets see what the price is when HUR hits it's production targets! That's what count's.

Price of most oil/gas shares is driven by the price of oil..........so my 40p has been reached and will be drip feeding in at these levels.

Congratulations to all of the people involved in getting the AM from Dubai to Rotterdam.

We have had nothing but good news for months and in the last week or so, publicity has picked up as well. Result, share price below 40p.

I hope that everyone who is selling or shorting HUR shares has a stinking rest of the year.

Clair is 40 plus miles north west of Hurricanes ground, that’s quite a distance.

Add in a bunch of massive faults crossing the structure and factoring in that this pre Cambrian rock aged between 1.7 to 3.5 billion years old, before life was on earth so pre oil.

So the likelihood that Clair and Lincoln are “the same” is not that high. Clearly they are in the right neighbourhood but unlikely to be the same.

As to when the oil turned up in these rocks we need a Petro geologist.
