13/11/2018 07:48 | Big mark down ....doubt it MM's will lower the price depends on how many idiots want to sell because of a small delay! | buzzzzzzzz
13/11/2018 07:42 | Without knowing details of the problem or estimated fix times and costs, a big markdown seems likely in this market. | the drewster
13/11/2018 07:39 | So, it looks like a small delay before the onward trip to Rotterdam and presumably RNSd to avoid speculation re a longer than expected stay in Algeciras. ...and sort of explains why HUR has always said H1 2019 for first oil, in order to build in a contingency for unforseen delays. Don't see this as a big deal. | puzzler2

13/11/2018 03:49 | extrader... post 840. Not sure where you're getting that info from... just need to look at the charts. But whilst on the subject of the influence of the convertibles, it does perhaps seem odd that the ordinaries share price rose rapidly from a minimum in Dec'17 to hit 40p (the conversion price) in Jan'18. It then dropped back for just over 3 months before breaching the 40p in Apr'18. (I realize the oil price had also taken a bit of a hit just after Jan, and also many of the other oil Co's SP's trended similarly.) The other thing that is definitely obvious (not just for HUR) is that during periods when the CBH's may be active, a whole load of new ADVFN users suddenly appear on the boards, many of them desperately trying to sow dissent and generally cause argument. ADVFN is perhaps less troubled than other discussion platforms. It can be fun playing "spot-the-loony"... AM not showing any sign's of moving yet - nor have any other vessel attended her (that I can see)... "Billy No-mates" at the moment. | steve73
12/11/2018 18:31 | Hi Extrader I think the squeeze is aimed at funds who recently bought in for the convertible income on a “Risk free” basis once the stock was above 40p. Just suggesting that they may well be the real people being tortured. Gary I don’t want the stock lower I recently bought in the 50s for a break out! But I was thinking smarter minds than me might have a few thoughts on the proposition. | davidblack
12/11/2018 18:19 | Thanks David. | telbap
12/11/2018 17:58 | Hi Davidblack, The HUR share price was below 39p from July 17 to Aug 18 approx., so not sure that argument holds ? ATB | extrader
12/11/2018 17:57 | can anyone shed some light on what goes on after 16.30 one minute there was showing two buys of 2.5 mln shares then five minutes later those two trades were gone, lots of big buy trades anyway after the bell is that a positive or negative ??? Can anyone enlighten me how to read after the bell trades ??? TIA | katiegos
12/11/2018 17:48 | You seem to be willing the share price down to 39p by banging on about it. | gary38
12/11/2018 17:47 | You misunderstood what l am applying, which was stop loss orders being triggered and AM leaving for Rotterdam would lift the share price of support. | gary38
12/11/2018 17:30 | Telbap, some of those trusts may have to sell if the price drops to less than 39p, the conversion price. Currently they have a risk free gain plus an income. Should that gain start to look like becoming a loss they may be compelled to sell. Just thinking that some scaly wag hedge funds may be selling the ordinary and encouraging the income funds to then sell the convertibles which the Hedgies then buy into at lower and lower prices. And all pretty risk free! | davidblack
12/11/2018 17:29 | Still in port as far I as I can see at algericas.....unless vessel finder is u/s | telbap
12/11/2018 17:28 | gary - Know you have senile dimensions but please learn between of & off!!!!!!! By the way, think Rotterdam is on the coast of the North sea (or was when i last looked)!!!!!!!!!!! | enfranglais |
