Compared to the likes of Marconi or Regal they look a safe bet in my opinion.I agree with bp that the yield is safe and although they issued a bearish statement (according to some amyway) I am fairly confident that they are undervalued.

I have added a few recently. The yield is vey good for a small cap, it will NOT be cut under any circumstances. The statement was not great but hardly a disaster. The assets are plentiful and the ceo would agree to a takeout at about 130p I reckon.

With such a good yield it is unlikely to fall much further so any buys should tick it up.

Tempted to get more at the current low price but small techs are on the rack at the moment.

IMO we have reached the bottom; very few sellers and a number of buyers have appeared recently.

You might have got a 10% yield in the past but only because interest rates were at 10%. With low interest rates HDT's yield is attractive.

I do suspect their markets will remain challenging however.

Almost halved in a week. On what? A cautious statement? With such a limited market, I see 30 to 40 pence soonish. Yes I know that gives it a 10% yield but that was common in the past. Fortunately, I do not hold too many but it is still enough for a daily 10% drop to hurt.

Looks like I timed this one badly - still think this is a temporary CGT fall with many mnay small cap techs down. Could provide a could top up opp although so do many other shares.

As I posted earlier there are net assets per share of over £1.10 anyway plus the dividend.

Outlook not exciting but share price overdone now IMO.

I strongly suspect that the two 3000's and the 5000 are buys ;-))

Doesn't take many trades to shift this share dramatically - fair price is probably a £1 given the yield and bad news.

SP could have an interesting few days.
